    Tomorrow

    missed that!

    • Same, I was looking at the fares and going hang on…

Melbourne -> Kuala Lumpur -> Singapore flythrough over $600!

At first I thought meh, but if you ignore the average prices from Sydney to Kuala Lumpur (~$310 return) and intend to fly elsewhere in Asia you have some amazing deals here. Depending on availability, you could possibly do a trip across all of Asia for cheaper than ever in potentially even high season. Flights are as cheap as a $1 between Cebu, Phillipines and Kota Kinabalu in Sabah, Malaysia!

If I was a Perthling I would definitely jump on this.

  • Doesn't seem too crazy to me. I guess it's a good deal for one-way to many places. Doesn't come close to that crazy AA deal from a week ago though.

Agree for the Aus to Asia legs, but the intra-Asia legs are damn cheap.

      • It's still one way for the legs. You can go KL to lots of places cheap then you'd need to pay regular price to get back to klia.

    HaLLO

just wondering if someone here who is Airasia big member got big points at least 109,821 and can book me flight then I'll just pay you by cash or money transfer please?

    Thank you=)

  • Yeah I booked a flight for you today, the check's in the mail right ?

  • wow! I got return flights to Tokyo from Perth for ~$360 by booking separate legs (jan-feb 2016)

    • what dates?

      • 8th Jan Per-kul
        (stop over)
        12th Jan kul-nrt
        (Japan)
        11th Feb nrt-kul
        (stop over)
        16th Feb kul-per

I've arranged to stay in kl for a few days either way

        • ahh. so its not those connecting flights per - nrt directly. I see how you're doing this.

        • yeah, plus you get a nice stop over in kl to eat some delicious food!

        • @lemonteh: I'm doing the same. Stopping in KL on my return from Phuket so I can go to Melaka and check it out.

  • i was only going to save $70 on a return flight…. gave it a miss

  • Booked a flight to Thailand on the last mega cheap sale but it was at the tail end of the sale and couldn't get home at those prices.

$110 back from KL isn't too bad for waiting about a week.

  • This sale is useful for those who bought airfares from the previous deal to travel between Australia and Malaysia, as the domestic legs are now cheap.

For example, in the previous sale, Oz - Penang/Langkawi was on sale but not Oz - KL. For those like myself who really wanted to go to KL, the domestic legs are now on sale - $4 between KL and Penang/Langkawi. $4 includes taxes but not baggage/food/pre-selected seats.

I paid 3 cents total for an international flight from the Philippines to Malaysia … amazing

I also got numerous flights in the Philippines for about 50 cents each

    • 3 cents?! How did they itemise the bill?! 1 cent for the flight, 2 cents service charge?

      • Just 1 peso for the flight,, no taxes on that flight and no service charges for paypal payment

        • That's great. I didn't see those advertised on the linked page.

Regarding international flights from Manila NAIA, it appears AirAsia must be paying for the terminal fee as well since it's now included in all ticket prices?

  • I got a cheap throw away ticket for 1 peso as I booked the $100 cebu pacific ticket to Manila for November but won't be returning to Australia for at least 3 years. Requirements tho as simple as it is to renew the tourist visa upto 3 years is a onward ticket within 30 days. :)

Yep - that's how I am using it too. Can't get into the country without an outbound flight ticket.

  • It says PER>KUL>SEOUL is about $209 but I cant seem to find this price on any of the dates I've put in (Oct-Dec 2015) and Jan-Mar 2016
Anyone have any luck with this?

    • Try booking two separate legs, e.g. PER-KUL 2 Feb $99 plus KUL-ICN [SEOUL] 3 February $109 (3 hours 20 min transit]. There is also a KUL-ICN flight on 3 February for $72

  • i needed a few legs but all still not cheap. perhaps its the dates :( will keep waiting.
