  • 3 Cell? anyone know battery life.

    • According to NotebookCheck, the i5 model can do about 8 hours idling, about 6.25 hours surfing via wifi, 5.25 hours looping H264 1080p video and 1.25 hours under load with full brightness.

      Linky

  • Not a bad price, cheaper than Dell Outlet.

  • I'm not a computer expert, but my brother who is a techy said it is not bad but defiantly go for the 4 cell battery with it.

    • Hmm… it says 4 cell battery optional but I can't find the option to select it.

      • Yeah i cant seem to find it either, i will message them after uni today and find out how to order it.

  • damnit ebay 20% off sale starts on the 29th! here's hoping it stays at $1099 til then (it's been as low as $999 before). 20% + 2% cashrewards will bring this down to $857.22!

    • Sales ends today. I doubt they'll let you double dip, many retailers even hike their prices up! Also, how do get cashrewards through Dell? Or is it eBay?

It's been $999 before, but not the 2015 model with 5th Gen Intel processors and a 4GB video card.

      • yeah i doubt it too. yep through ebay.

        true that.

  • These are junk. Had one that went through 3 screens, all with terrible backlight bleed. Ended up returning it.

    • You replaced the screen 3 times??? And still managed to return it? That's a first… Maybe you got a faulty model?
