Sorry.. didnt see Trent86 's link.. Apologies..
Mods please cancel this one.. Thanks

  • my bro is using the tempo at the moment. the battery life is really good and it runs stock android 4.4 kitkat. It is quite snappy even with 512 MB RAM, they are using some sort of sorcery!!! The main downside is the camera is quite bad, but its great for browsing, texting and calling, with a sturdy build quality and a good compact size! Worth at least $50 IMO

I am confused ?? "This Telstra Pre-Paid mobile comes with one of 3 recharge values, $30, $40 or $50 dollars for more choice in how much you pay for your mobile phone."

I'm assuming you pay for it, it doesn't "come with it"

      confused with word comes with

      • perhaps its the "$30, $40 or $50" he has a problem with.
sounds like pot luck which gamble the pack 'comes with'.
i bet it doesn't come with any of them and they are just the recharges u can buy at a later stage.
you may get a 10$ telstra sim in the pack with 14 day expiry

      It's not confusing. It's a Prepaid Phone + Plan.

This Telstra Pre-Paid mobile comes with one of 3 recharge values, $30, $40 or $50 dollars for more choice in how much you pay for your mobile phone.

I will reword it for the slow learners and non-English speakers…

This Telstra Pre-Paid mobile COMES WITH A SIM AND A PRE-ARRANGED RECHARGE PLAN SO YOU CAN PAY FOR one of 3 recharge values, $30, $40 or $50 dollars for more choice in how much you pay for your mobile phone.

It's a Prepaid plan. You buy the phone for $25 and then you choose one of the 3 recharge packs. It's not hard to comprehend, and it's also not hard to learn about it

Yes, I am…..if it comes with $30 $40 or $50 , it doesn't make any sense, any phone comes with credit if you choose to pay for it.

    • local hooked said she comes with credit too…..on my credit card!

    • IT DOES NOT COME WITH ANY CREDIT

      Talk about wishful thinking LOL

  • Online order out of stock. Will it work if we drop by the store directly ?

  • Assuming this is locked, can this be unlocked?

    • very easily.

I ordered an unlock code from an eBay seller with good rep, and I had the code back in like 5 mins after ordering!

I used this seller to unlock

  • Just got one price matched by target.

It has a SIM with the $10 credit.

This and the 2 Y550s should make for some happy family members next time I fly overseas.

    • twister, r u saying the mobile phone is unlocked?

      • Doubt it..

      • No, they're all locked

But unlock codes are like $3 on ebay, so getting them unlocked is nominal.

  • This is a great phone, especially for that price. I picked one up yesterday and am pretty happy with it. I don't even mind the screen quality.

The one downside to this device, is that sound quality from the headphone jack is absolutely atrocious. Regardless of the app used. Serious distortion and the lyrics are often lost in the background with no EQ sufficient to recover them.
I'm yet to try my Bluetooth earphones, but otherwise I'll have wasted $25, as my intention for this phone was as a cheap iPod.
