  • i got mine. 11:59pm aest yesterday.

  • Finally got my codes this morning.

  • just short survey guys, do u mind if you just reply on my below comment. Would you purchase another egift card via groupon in the future?

    • horrible but probably yes

    • not an egift card, and probably not anything

    • Got mine today but yes I would for the discount.
It's still better than the groupon giftcard (for use on Groupon site) which took 2 months+ to arrive!

it would have to be 15% discount for me to buy this again.
otherwise, i'd just stick to the normal 5% one.

Same here. Must be at least 10% for me to consider. Already saving 5% and the occasional WW online deals on here (with free delivery) are enough :)

  • I got mine today too.

Still haven't received my egift card. All I've received is an email from Groupon saying my order has been confirmed. No emails from everydaygiftcards.com.au and nothing sent in the post.

      Same here

    • The gift cards arrived just now by email. It took 12 days. Buying physical cards would no doubt be faster. Feels like an odd concept. It's like having $2k of cash arrive by email. If someone intercepts the PDF first (at the ISP for example) they can print the vouchers and spend them before you can. I wonder what the rate of fraud with these is…

    • guys, my suggestion email to groupon waiting their response. then charge back to your credit card company, I got my credit back the following day. i m not interested talking crap with their support anymore, seems cs and their back office doesn't have any communication.

  • Still haven't received mine, although haven't waited as long as some. Ordered 12/4

    • Just got mine 11:20 this morning

  • And to top off how much of a waste of time this is - woolies staff claim i can't use it to buy regular gift cards!! never again groupon, never again egift cards.

    • Did you try self checkout?

      • No, and certainly wasnt going to try after asking them and getting a reply that it wasnt allowed. The reason I went to the counter was that i wanted to get a custom $600 one and pay for it with my 3x200 eGifts.

In the end i just put the serial + pins on my phone and have been using those.

        • Apparently it works through self checkout. I've never tried myself.

        • +1

@amts: self checkout works for buying store giftcards with preset amounts (eg. Myer $50 gc, JB Hifi $100 gc, etc).

Wish giftcards are not preset amounts. You have to get staff to authorise the amount you want to load on the card, even on self checkout terminals. As yanman was told, staff typically refuse this. It is against WW policy to pay for gc with gc.

        • @spacecowboy:
Thanks for the clarification. Was going to try it out myself today. You've just saved me the trouble.

    • I haven't had a problem when I've been buying groceries as well.

      • Ahh, looks like you have to buy the GC with something else.
