    Awesome - thanks, OP!

  •

    Won't let me enter a title ??

    •

      Are u MR or MRS?

    •

Me neither, did you end up getting it working?

      •

Make sure you use a capital"M" then it should work.

        •

Had to change my mobile settings to desktop view to access the drop down menu

  •

Great, thanks! the only bad part is you have to choose a day/session now rather than in a few months when the events happen. But still, free tickets are free so i'm not complaining.

    •

try to avoid the weekend if possible, bit feral. Hard to even move on a Sunday it gets so crowded. Really hope the celeb chefs are on all days

  •

Sydney? I need tix for Sydney.

  •

Sydney misses out on free show, think same as last year

    • +2 votes

Nah, I got free tickets here last year

      •

        same, citibank ftw

  •

  •

    Thanks OP!

  •

Grabbed a couple Brisbane tickets. I figure that even if I can't go someone will use them.

  •

Will we expect beer samples this year?

    I hope so.

    •

for $30 a ticket you'd expect some freebies surely!!!

    •

There was plenty of beer samples last year in Brisbane. I was surprised by the rum sampling as well, was pretty boozy by the end of it all.

        F**K
        YES!

You know this is the weekend before the start of Uni Exams though, right? *fingers crossed mine is late in the exam window

        •

Luckily I finished uni a few years back. Don't let it stop you from having a good time, just don't get overexcited and head out afterwards.

        •

          @stevil:

You know why you should go if you want fun minus alcohol? There should be some local Hot Sauce manufacturers there too. I think they've either been there, or at the Melbourne Show, a few times.

Very disappointing Teresa… Let's all pull in together and tell her it's just not on. That's not the OzBargain way…

        •

Before we go on a Witch Hunt….is it possible they bought the ticket legitimately and wish to on sell as they cannot attend?

        • +6 votes

@tsunamisurfer: The ad was posted 3 hours ago though. It's tough to say but I highly doubt they would be selling it today if they legitimately couldn't attend, what are the chances of realising you couldn't attend something in July, today? Of all the days you could advertise it, the Gumtree seller chose today when this deal comes up? Smells fishy to me.

        •

          @StephCurry:
Yes, you are a low-life moll Teresa.

OK I'll bring the fire, someone else bring the pitchforks and stake.

        • +7 votes

When I checked my emailed invoice, it says complimentary tickets with the value of $0.00, where as the gumtree ad shows screen shots of the full general admission price. May be a sign that she bought it.

        • +10 votes

Yup looks like she bought those tickets in march. Perhaps she got some free tickets here tonight so she's selling the tickets she had already bought. You guys are too quick to judge.

        •

          @moooooooo:
No hang her! Drive her family away!
          :p

  •

nice one OP :) gotta wait till nov :( lol

  • +3 votes

Is this normal, I have a feeling this might all go pear shaped when they cancel the tickets. How did you get the code OP ?

    • +13 votes

I was sent a promo code after ending up on a Nelson Alexander (real estate) mailing list - there's no special club I needed to join, beyond being a person who went to look at a house for sale and now on a spammy list from an agent who apparently loves to email the hell out of anyone who ever attended a house opening.

I was then able to guess the other two codes successfully when I went to the booking page (and the page source at the time confirmed it - they were in the HTML)

      •

Great work OP, Thanks a lot for the clarification.

Ofcourse you are not to blame even if it does go pear shaped, but this thought came to mind that's all.

It might be ok If the realestate agent is spamming everyone with the same code.
