not worth the spam you get from them …

    • I've purchased heaps of stuff from them but don't get spammed.

  • asks for way too many permissions for a shopping app IMHO.
They can jam it this time.

Apps like this make me thankful for XPrivacy.
(So far of the dodgy permissions, haven't seen any requests for Location or Camera (I assume camera is for writing reviews and adding item pics), but has asked for Phone data (networkoperatorname, simoperatorname, networkcountryiso etc)

Anyone know what is the output on the USB car charger?

  • Thanks OP just bought the clippers

I registered previously with my email account I use for promos, I don't think they're that bad with spam one email every 4-7 days odd with an unsubscribe link included

    • +3

every time I've clicked the 'unsubscribe' link I get a 'page not found' error

      • +1

I just clicked unsubscribe and got a 404 error too :-( This is why I use my spam mail account for promos!

my experience is they don't honour unsubscribes and they share your details with others

      • they also sell some ridiculously low output torches. 2000 banggood lumens = 200 real lumens.

      Filter to the bin?

  • is the app as shitty as their website?

    • I think it may be 'slightly' better!

  • thanks, got the 8in1

    USD in title please.

I remembered to use my 28 deg CC this time. I picked the LED running band.

You can change it from USD to AUD, only paid AUD$0.01

      • +1

        Damn! Oh well.

      • I thought that was only for display, but ultimately charged in USD.. then again, so many sites.. I remember at least one did actually charge in the displayed currency, guess this was one of them.

  • Thanks, I just ordered one glowing LED wrist band in red.

    • Green for me.

      • One in pink… and one in blue!

Omg app not compatible with my cheap chinese tablet

  • Grabbed a nail clipper, the only things seems to be useful to me. Thanks op.

Thanks OP. Ordered one of the colour changing wrist bands.

    • +1

I'd like to try and break the news to you gently now, before you receive the product and demand justice… it's not actually colour 'changing'!

      • I ordered one of the multi-colour ones, according to what I've seen, the LED's change colour; however my expectations aren't exactly high.

  • Pink wrist band, thanks!

  • BUG with app. It used my old address to ship even though when it went through Paypal, it had my new address showing. You don't see which address it will send to until purchase is completed. Sent email this morning. No answer yet from Banggood.

    • I added mine to my cart and then completed the sale on the PC. Maybe others should do the same after this warning?

      • Got charged 1c still? When I looked at my cart on PC it showed the regular price.

        • Yeah it was still the 1c. I have just re-checked to make sure.

        • It looks like they have fixed it (I bought mine on the 14'th). When I try it now on another phone it jumps back to the normal price. Sorry about that.

  • Gotta love how you disable promo and cart notifications in the app, so it instead notifies you that a notification was received.

Glad Android allows you to disable notifications per app (though uninstalling anyway)

By the way, did anyone try the app on a WiFi only tablet? Wouldn't let me add the flash sale items to cart.

  • Got nail clipper today, its better than a $15 one i purchased 6months ago!
    Cheers OP!
