The link says $59, so they've put the price up by $5

    • +3

Yeah it was an intro price which target usually does for New Wii U Games

  • Good price! Got a copy + Mario Amiibo

  • Thanks TRENT: I dont know if I should get just the game or the bundle.

Is the Mario amiibo included in this bundle works the same as the Super Smash Bros Mario amiibo? Or do they operate differently depending on the game?

    • +6

The Mario amiibo work the same - only the aesthetics differ. However, once data is saved from one game (e.g Super Smash Bros. ), it cannot be used on another without deleting the exisiting data on the figure.

      • Thanks for the information!

        Wow what a horrible system!

  • Has anyone played the new mario party? On the fence atm but from what I've read its not great

    • +1

Its fun if you like mario party. The mini games are great but everyone riding in the same vehicle puts some people off

Its fun if you like mario party.

Are you trying to be funny ?

        • It's the worst first party game from Nintendo for many years.

          reviews aren't that bad…

          http://www.metacritic.com/game/wii-u/mario-party-10

        • +2

@jv: It's true though regardless. 66/100 is the worst Nintendo game on WiiU. This is in a world where Nintedoland exists. The game has received poor reviews for a reason.

        • 66/100 isn't bad if you look at some of the other recent games on other platforms! Need I spam PS4 and Xbone metacritic links?

Nintendo know Marioparty is bad though. It's for little kids that can't tell the difference between a good and a bad game and just have fun all the same. Like CoD.

The car sucks though. The person who decided to keep it should be fired.

@Where's_That_Cake: Not a single Mario Party game on metacritic has reached 80. The games simply don't review well. After ten iterations though they surely have their audience so they must be doing something right to appeal to a certain crowd.

Playing it with my young kid and he find it very enjoyable. I'd recommend it if you have children who want to play it. For the right crowd it might serve as an alternative to mario Kart, and like that game there's some (often frustrating) mechanics built in to help those that aren't as proficient stay in the race.

watch some people play it ….

    • My kids and I are fans of Mario Party, and quite like this new one, can be a good bit of fun. Make sure you have Wii remotes for everyone though, you need them for each player.

Using the code & Amex card (Target $20 off $100 spend)

    • +1

Good Memory I will add that to post :)

      • I found the ozbargain thread, but where is the page to register your Amex card for this? I've tried hard and can't find it.

        • Log into your Amex card account it should be under your offer tab

        • @wtfnodeal:

Thanks. It seems I can't even create an account with this card? It's a commonwealth bank platinum awards card.

        • @justtoreply: the offer is for Amex direct issue only.

      • Dammit. Got myself an amex (direct issue low rate card) and the offer doesn't show up. On 'offers for this card', there's nothing :(

  • FF Type-O is out of stock

    • Yeah only XB1 Version Left

  • I don't have wii u, can i play this on normal wii?

    • Nope, different platform sorry!

      • You will be able to play it on the NX

        • +1

Not sure if trolling. The NX may not even be revealed at E3. All we know is that Nintendo said that to appease its shareholders. And, even if, you can't claim it's going to have backwards compatibility.

Let's imagine for a second that it might actually happen and that Nintendo design it around what's popular right now. It'll probably have no backwards compatibility, you have to pay for online, only 1 good exclusive on it in the first 3 release years, and prioritize graphics over gameplay with tons of mediocre releases. You know. Like the PS4 and Xbone. At least it'll be one hell of a BluRay player.

  • Thanks for the amex reminder - used it to get cheap MKX

  • any one knows about a cheaper wii u remote..?
