First time post in OzBargain.
Was looking for a studio kit for product photography and came across this while searching online. Had a look in-store @Teds Garden City and the tagged price was $149.95. Talked to the staff and their system confirmed that it's $99.95, which they think was rather odd. So I think it's a good bargain before they fix this for those in the hunt for one of these :)
Also one last thing to note, other stores offer one of these for $159-$199.
I don't recommend this DIY, this would create hot spots, no continuous backdrop and isn't anything close to the link above. One would be disappointed with the results.
Plenty of cheaper options out there for product photography that would give similar results to Teds kit.
That DIY job is horrible.
I can't recall ever seeing a genuine deal at any Ted's store.
I got a Fuji XC 27mm for $249 during their Boxing Day sales.
Unfortunately the lens was a dud and had to return it twice for repairs… Fuji replaced it in the end.
