Looks like a seriously obnoxious keyboard.

    • Keyboards can be obnoxious?

I mean if that's your thing, sure, but if I wanted to be typing on something that glows a ton of colours I'd use my current mechanical keyboard and take some LSD.

        • You can set the colour of each key individually I think so you can make them all one colour or off.

Gaming peripherals are marketed by douchebags who view their target demographic as fundamentally immature.

In other news, the sky is apparently blue.

    Best price so far.
Unique keyswitches (whether this is good or bad is subjective, it certainly has limited bargaining power compared to cherry brown keyboards for as low as ~$64+del).

    • Where can I get Cherry Brown keyboards for ~$64+del?

      • https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/142568 hmm they're $66 now, probably due to currency fluctuations.

        • Not as many features as I would have liked unfortunately (N-key rollover, backlight, etc.) I'm looking at the Ducky Shine line of keyboards at the moment. Decisions decisions.

        • @The Land of Smeg: Version 3.0 (and newer) appears to be designed for n-key rollover. Not sure why people need backlighting. It appears v6.0 has backlighting, but then the pricing is getting to the same range as other keyboards, when all one really needs is a mechanical keyboard.

        • @Lukian: Some peoples' needs are different to others

  • amazing price

  • This gives you a pretty good idea of it's pros and cons

I like to play shooters in a dark room, so I have a backlit keyboard. I don't need a bazillion colours, but I would not buy a decent keyboard that wasn't backlit.

The three ways you interface with the computer are monitor, keyboard and mouse, so I invest lots in those. Most people spend more time and money on what brand ram or other stuff that makes 3% difference if that.
My current Logitech has lasted 5+ years and shows no sign of giving up so to me it is worth investing in a good one.

Most people spend more time and money on what brand ram or other stuff that makes 3% difference if that.

Choice of RAM can actually impact performance. Peripherals don't. Unless you're a g4m3r who believes 10,000DPI mice and 140Hz monitors equals better K/D; which doesn't pan out as even eSports pros use sh*tty peripherals and still beat the hell out of the rest of the ladder.

I agree with pontificating over peripheral design/functionality to a point; as soon marketing gimmicks like 113-key anti-ghosting, excessive macro keys, and 16.8 million back-lighting colours come into the fray, my BS detector spikes. You don't need any of that and you certainly don't need to pay $152 for a decent mechanical KB these days.

There is so much smoke & mirrors in the gaming/enthusiast-oriented PC hardware market today ever since the ASUS Republic of Gaudy line and eSports-sponsored partnerships with OEMs became all the rage.

Now you can't lay your hand on a mouse, keyboard, headset or that doesn't make ridiculous promises about how it'll plug you into the Matrix and give you Aimbot-like skill. Your "3% difference" comment is very applicable to the majority of gaming-themed peripheral trash out there day; that's about how much they differ internally.

Solid keyboard, awesome response and not very noisy. Space bar is the loudest part. It did have some deal breaking software issues but they were all squashed about a month ago. Best KB for the price IMO.

It's a shame Logitech didn't make a model half way between the G710+ (Bought on eBay deal) and the Orion 910.

if you have this and play GTAV, then turn on keyboard features in the options menu, it changes to each players colour and F1-F12 flash red and blue like police lights
