Cheap adsl modem/router. n300 wifi, 4x 10/100 ethernet (no giga) , one usb port.
A couple left in morley, WA, so I trust the "low stock" elsewhere is genuine too :) Showing available / in stock at Cairns QLD

There are cheaper clearance-price modem-routers on the website, but probably no stock.

  • i have a n600 router, if i bridge this to my router, is it meant that i had n600 performance? or still n300?

    • +1

If it's bridged, the WiFi will be dependent on the existing n600, so still n600. The connection between them will still be limited to 100Mbps (ethernet connection) but your internet is unlikely to be faster than that?

      • thanks! think it is upto 20mbps.

  • Avoid all netcomm modem routers. I bought the NB16WV-02 which died after 9 months then the replacement died after 2 months. Rubbish performance, QOS enabling makes it crawl, constant reboots and drop outs, cant use ranges of IP's when setting filtering only one by one. They look good on paper but CRAP performers.

    • Correction: Avoid all sub-$100 dollar routers.

      • I paid $179 for the NB16WV-02, that was not cheap.

  • Try finding this modem at office works - was on special at greenacre office works for $55

This modem router has 2 USB ports (one for 3G/4G modem), VIOP, and gigabit LAN

  • Had this since August 2013, still going strong.

  • About 5 in stock at Wodonga 3690

  • Had this for 12 months. Awesome modem

  • My netcomm adsl router wireless died after 2 years. I now used it as a bridge Adsl.

  • I am just coming up to 2 years on mine from TPG and it has needed reboot on rare occasions but I have otherwise been satisfied with it. Fingers crossed I didn't jinx it and it won't conk out just after the 2 year warranty. If you can get it at that price, I think it's a bargain.

  • They had loads of these at Doncaster Victoria store when I picked up my Belkin. I chose the Belkin because it was a few dollars cheaper and has a lifetime warranty. There were also two Belkin ones left.

  • Just returned this model yesterday and bought the Belkin from OW. Netcomm doesn't work with Telstra and they can't help much either because it is BYO modem :0(

      Netcomm doesn't work with Telstra

Of course it does. Netcomm is Australian.
Telstra is just being a pain. They hire support people with no skills, so if your device and problem is not in their script, you are SOL.

I worked at OW for a few years & Netcomm was one of the ones which rarely came back to us or had issues, actually. FYI

    Cheers
