  • not bad…I got mine at Good Guys for about the same without any codes or credits.

My feedback on the item is that you need to remove the hair that the turbo head picks up….it builds up very quickly

Its pretty good- I haven't taken out my DC23 out for a while…might need to ebay the big unit.

Hi Kirk7, when did you get the deal from GoodGuys? Was it an advertised special, or negotiated price? If the latter I might try popping into a store to get one.

      Cheers

      • Hi Tiggrrrrr,

It was an advertised offer…found it from here of course…it was cheaper than the Masters deal for the DC35 at the time.

  • +2

Need to take out the $40 from the price as some people may not have AMEX.

    • And some people neg comments for no reason.

  • +3

Cashback doesn't equal discount, and the Amex deal isn't for everyone.
And Gift Card doesn't equal discount.

    • actually when i used that code it deducts it off straight away, you don't need to go back to david jones for a second transaction, it takes it off your current one :D

  • +1

put 'pay by AmEx' in the title as misleading post… some don't have amex

    • Even then it's not $274 delivered, it's not like anyone could just buy this with $274 coming off their card

  • The same code can be applied to other appliances like:

Nespresso DeLonghi Inissia Capsule Coffee Machine $199

Just add something to make it up to $200+, then you will get $25 DJ gift card, plus $50 cashback from Nespresso plus $40 cashback from Amex. Don't forget to use Cashrewards for 7% cashback and free delivery for purchase over $100+.

Haven't try buying one as I had two coffee machines already.

  • I am planning to replace my Hoover portable vacuum, which battery (14.4) is no longer good.
It is being as 'quick and go' vacuum, and for small area, 3x a day.
Can anyone recommend if this Dyson can be good candidate for what I am looking for?
    Thanks

Yes, it would work well. I have friends who only use these to vacuum their 2-3 bedroom homes on 1 charge.

works well on carpet but takes a few swipes before it can pick up some items on hard floors. Also hair gets tangled in the head so will need to clean it out every couple of weeks

  • Don't forget 5 QF points per dollar at DJ's when shopping through the Qantas Mall.

    https://onlinemall.qantaspoints.com/

  • +1

Don't forget if you buy through Qantas Mall, or Cashrewards you get 7% cashback.
Takes the final value to about $250 (including $25 gift card, and $40 AMEX reward).

And yes, it does rely on you having an AMEX, and a gift card isn't technically cashback, but you can use the $25 card to buy the next ozbargain deal!

    Why is it showing $399.20?

    • Showing $399.20 for me too… interested in the deal though if the price goes back down

      • Just proceed to checkout and price will drop to $339. Add the QANTAS code in the promotion field and you are done.

EDIT: Expired! Was able to buy it a couple of minutes ago.

    • +1

      dammit.. expired.

  • When I add the DC45 to cart, the price still shows as $399.20 and not the $339.32 mentioned by the OP.
    Am I missing something?

    • Add it to the cart, is $399. Add the qantas code and it goes to $424.95 less $25 :/

I thought this was a Dyson selfie stick…

    • +1

      same…

  • DJ removed the 2nd discount

  • Looks like it's expired… damn the V6 was going for $407 too but I didn't have time to check out. Maybe it was a pricing error that they fixed?

  • got mine from Masters, pricing matching HN @ 299 plus 3x $15 giftcard, nice vacuum

  • Got pickup notification for the v6. Finally took the plunge, as I really regretted not getting this deal as I assumed it would have been a refund job due to price error. I think I will be happier with the v6 for $367, with a $25 gift card and the $99 bonus tool kit.

    • i missed out on that deal too :(

      whats the v6?

      • a rebadged 59. No idea how you got a v6 for $367 but that's a great price. I was going to pull the trigger on it for $479 as part of this deal but expired. Hopefully tgg or hn join the dyson sales that seem to be happening.

        • It was $479, but discount doubles tacked with the 15% off making it $407, $367 after amex credit. Very happy wwith it. Also roughly 2750 qff points to go with it and still waiting on the bonus tool kit

got mine from Masters, pricing matching HN @ 276.5 with $45 Everyday Giftcard

    • +1

      you're welcome.

    • How did you go about doing that guys? Online or over phone
And how did you get it at that price and get the gift cards too?
      Appreciate it

      • Went to Store pricing matching Harvey Norman @ $299, paid with 7.5%OFF Giftcard bought from Groupon = $276.5

Got $45 Masters Giftcard from promotion, down to $231.5

        • Is this sale and promo still on? I can't find it

  • The checkout price is 399…

  • Anyone know is there another good bargain for handstick vacuums? Looking to spend around $200 for an affordable but decent one for mother's day. Thanks.
