  • Anyone have any experience with the VS Sassoon Metro beard and stubble trimmer?

Not that particular model but another beard trimmer I bought from them was absolute garbage - very poor quality. I wouldn't buy the brand again.

Its crap at cutting beards but if you want 1.2 mmm of stubble today and 0.8 mm tomorrow you may find it useful. It also has the worst battery of any device I've ever owned.

The Remington Vacuum Beard Trimmer is the best beard trimmer I've owned and I highly recommend it. It won't work as a stubble trimmer though and the vacuum is a gimmick.

Now looking at the actual products in the deal it looks like they are both newer version of the ones I own, so reviews may not apply 100%.

      • Cheers! Looks like I'll give then a miss. I can't even grow a proper beard so stubble trimmers are where it's at for me :p

        • stay away from Remington and stick with brands like Wahl, if you can get Oster, much better!

    • Do not buy this - Waste of time. Does next to nothing. Send the extra $$ on a wahl

I think we belong to a rare species.

        • oh my.. what big ears you have

    • But for those not so lucky, the $19.95 along with youtube will be far cheaper than a cosmetic surgeon

      Good for Pinochio

  • What is the quality like on the Philips Nose and Ear Trimmer?

    • I've had one for a few years and have found it to be a great product

    • I tried to buy this at Brighton, out of stock, only Melbourne stock is Cranbourne and Melton, best to order online.

I recommend against the cheaper Wahls. Feels poor quality, with razors that before too long start giving you split ends on your beard. I believe the cheaper Wahls are in name only (made in China), whereas the pricier range are American made.
