Yes bandwidth does halve using an extender, but for a lot of situations these things are a perfect solution for maximising the range of your home wifi network…

      Actually that is the NEW model. The range extenders only go up to AC1900 at the moment. Still not sure why this is so expensive when you can get the AC1900 fully fledged router for a fair bit cheaper.

      However this is the newer model. The old model was only AC1200.
