Thanks to agentsabet with this original post https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/194814, I managed to grab a bottle of Lagaluvin for $75 a pop.

Well actually I doubled up using the CLICKCOLLECT62 code for new users by creating a new account and topped up my cart to >$100, so really got the Lagaluvin for $65 along with some other 1/2 price specials =D

I believe you may potentially also be able to tie this up to get $15 rebate via Cash Rewards as per tightarse's post https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/189519. I didn't get a chance to try this as I found this post in retrospect =(

Hope this doesn't qualify as a dupe, but if it is Mod delete by all means!

Edit: Lagaluvin was on special at $85 a bottle, but now appears that the special is over and now priced at $117.70.

      I doubt it. The Amex deal requires you to spend $100 at Liquorland, not at Coles Online.

    Thanks for posting the deal OP! I'm new to drinking whisky so I've grabbed a bottle of this with http://shop.coles.com.au/online/national/la-maxi-ice-cola for the mixer. The last time I drank an Irish Whisky (Laphroaig), it's so horrible and tasted like Betadine antiseptic so I had to mix it with lots of LA Ice.

      At least do it justice by mixing it with JW blue label!!

      Quality whisky calls for quality cola, so need to mix it with Coke (http://shop.coles.com.au/online/national/coca-cola-soft-drin…)… Luckily, you can also stock up on the 1.25L ones at $1.39 each (was $3.07, save $1.68) at the same time to get it over $100.

      Perfect combination =P

        Some ppl within some postcodes got opening price $85 from Coles Online. Not the case with the rest. Tried with few click&collect Branches already, none give me $85.

        I think some times before 4 or 5 AM Coles jack up the price for its online shopping. Because as i checked, Liquorland still have the same bottle for $85, and it does not make sense for Coles to have different price to that of LL's, knowing that the coupons won't work with LL.

        Anyway, not a biggie. Still enjoying Glenfiddich 15 DE.

    Firstly if you think Laphroaig is Irish you have a problem. Second, drinking it with lots of ice and hence diluting it to water, an even bigger problem!

          Yeah, doesn't cashrewards specifically say you can't use gift cards?

          Not that it matters: worst case, you get 5% return (gift card only). best case you get both
