somehow i feel this one also not bad
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-32GB-Genuine-micro-SD-SDH…

    16gb is kind of.. small

    • EVO vs Pro (faster)

    • But someone looking for a Lotus Elise might not be interested in a V6 Commodore Wagon.

      • +6

That's right. Commodore wagon is so much spacious and comfortable, while the Elise is so cramp and bumpy ride.

        • Wow

Certainly buy the EVO then :)

        • @Click_It: Yes, please do. EVO is like Elise, good enough for most people, but not as good as Pro which is like the Commodore wagon :)

    • +1

      Pro is better. Regardless.

  • +2

    Thanks OP

  • Will this work in a Surface Pro?

    • +1

      Yes.

      • Thanks. Not too familiar with memory card formats eg SD, SDHC, SDXC etc.

        • +1

Understandable. I know it works because I use SDHC in my surface pro 1

        • @gawky:

Great, that's what I've got too.

  • I'm looking for small yet fast usb drives. I'm thinking using these in usb readers would be faster than any usb drive for this price. If I'm wrong can someone point me in the better direction? I do have a usb 3.0 reader already.

    • The speed will also depend on your USB reader.
I've had great luck with the PNY 128GB USB3 drives that pop up here now and then. I get about 95-100MB/s sustained with large files.

  • +5

    Price increased to AU $12.95

  • +1

    • +1

Seller must be monitoring this post

  • Was about to buy but then saw price changed to $12.95. Checked again and price reverted back to $10.95. Bought now.

  • so Jase2801 I really like the price of this 16GB card but i'm looking more for 32GB+ deals, so if you make me a deal for this Samsung 32GB Pro micro SD roughly around sugested $19.95 price mark, i'm definately in as many of my fellow mates up here

    • hahaa…im sure the rep is somewhere, might or might not be Jase

    • +5

      Hi Guys,

      Good morning =)
      Jase2801 posted this because it's a good deal ?
Thank you Jase for helping us. I will be able to assist you with further enquiries.

We'll start with aDaMoVEC, it's for me to do the 32GB for $19.95, as we do not have a good pricing on this.
I can offer this at a good price for you:

  • Questions :- . I need a SD card for camera . Since this is a micro sd but comes with a SD adapter I believe I can use it in the camera. Does this affect the speed at all if using the adapter ? Is it better to get a SD card or it does not make a difference with adapter ? If there is no difference this is better right as i can use it in the mobile phone for micro sd in the future ? In that case there is no point buying SD cards anymore right ?

    Thanks.

    • +3

I use all my micro sd with an adaptor for my DSLR. No problems at all.

There's been nearly 40 sold in the last half-hour! Go Ozbargain!

  • Ok did I miss something…

The picture shows the micro card in an adapter, but I can't see the adapter included in the description anywhere?

    • +4

      Hi Greenspoon,

Rest assure, it comes with a SD adapter =)

      Cheers
      Francesca

      • Win! And Bought. Double win!

  • Only 16GB but bought one anyway. I hope its random write speed is comparable to the 64GB version.

  • +1

    Thanks op

  • +1

Love it : "Receipt for your PayPal payment to OZB Enterprises Pty Ltd"

    OZBargain is now in business?

  • Just grabbed one (now the price has been put back to $10.95 lol). Only to throw in a spare phone.

  • +1

I just bought one yesterday from the other deal T.T Oh well, nice find.

  • Curious.

I have a SanDisk Extreme Class 10 but it says 45MB/s on it.

This class 10 is 90MB/s - I thought the 'Class' was what defined the speed, or is the 'Pro' bit enough to double this baby's performance (i.e. should I ditch my old Sandisk out of the DSLR and put this one in when it arrives)

    • +2

Class 10 just means it can maintain a minimum 10MB/s

It's a rather outdated measurement today for obvious reasons.

In short, the Samsung Pro should be much faster than your SanDisk, assuming your DSLR can take advantage of the extra performance (not a DSLR owner so I can't help you there)

      • Hi Click_It,

        Thanks for helping out :)

        Cheers
        Francesca

        • You're welcome.

I'm still umm'ing and ahh'ing about whether I should buy 1 (or more) myself :)

      • +2

Thanks very much, ozbargain is such a wealth of information

    impulse, impulse buy.

  • Hey Rep what do you mean by

All Samsung 16GB Pro MicroSD Cards are genuine & in Bulk packaging.

Does this mean it is not sealed in original packaging?

  • +5

Bought a few of these last week on their normal site (slightly more expensive but still a good price) and using in Raspberry Pi 2 — works a treat

Benchmarks using 50mb file I just ran using a yum cha usb3 SD card :

    Sequential Read : 82.100 MB/s
    Sequential Write : 55.928 MB/s
    Random Read 512KB : 78.252 MB/s
    Random Write 512KB : 47.974 MB/s
    Random Read 4KB (QD=1) : 9.069 MB/s [ 2214.2 IOPS]
    Random Write 4KB (QD=1) : 2.491 MB/s [ 608.2 IOPS]
    Random Read 4KB (QD=32) : 11.261 MB/s [ 2749.3 IOPS]
    Random Write 4KB (QD=32) : 2.191 MB/s [ 534.8 IOPS]

    Test : 50 MB [F: 6.0% (0.9/14.9 GB)] (x1)

    • What sort of packaging did it come in? Was it original and "sealed" package?

      • actual micro sd, micro sd to sd adapter (varies between white/gray to black adapter cards), inside an sd clamshell and inside an envelope - you just don't get the fancy paper packaging.

    • +1

Thanks for providing the full bench including 4K QD1/16. Faster than I thought they were. Bought 1 based on this :)

    • Wow the best random speeds I've seen in a long time.

  • +1

Great deal thanks OP! I've been using a Samsung 16GB Class 2 in my camera… Really pathetic at burst images.

  • the problem i m having is…i forgot which 32GB sd card i bought…i remember it's sandisk extreme or sth…that's why..i forgot.. but 90mb read……is a little tempted…and 10.95….and 2% cashback, another 21 cents off…..and ebay positive feedback……

  • +1

Are these just delivered in the regular mail, or will they require a signature? If not, is this the case for all your memory cards, or just the small capacity cards?
    Thanks.

    • +1
