Can the ram be upgraded? Is there a slot for msata or m.2 ssd? I'm guessing it's a shitty TN 1366x768 panel though?
Don't know about this model, but a previous i7 model would only take Crucial RAM when we upgraded it.
Acer rewards are discounts for their (new?) Acer holiday packages, not on the notebooks themselves. It certainly won't reduce the cost of this notebook from $749 to $449.

So NZD968 = AUD908, in that case $747 is still a good price I think.
