Sub-1000 5060 finally as should be. Would've preferred 7700 but my bros at Nebula probably saw all the Ryzen 5000 series dump in AliExpress and said fxck it let's gooo

    • +3

      8gb model tho.

      • True. But still better than the $900 deal for the RTX 5050 I guess lmao

        • +3

          Back innthe day, like 2018

i paid $1.1k ish for a system w gtx 1050 ti, 16gb ram, i3-8100. the motherboard was like $300 tho lmao(built in Vietnam)

      • how did I get by with a 3.5gb gtx970 for years - but agree these card manufacturers need to up the game to 16gb models as standard

        • it's just game requirements are more these days…

there's kinda more incentive for game devs to take advantage of the more vram model cards i reckon

  • -3

don't like the brand of motherboard & can't choose brand of video card…otherwise can live with everything else!

    • +2

The RX 7600 GPU will be ASUS., The 9060XT supply has been a bit hit or miss. We have a few brands on hand, if you have a preference, please let us know. It'll primarily be Sapphire, ASUS or GIGABYTE.

  • +1

I read the code as $5,000 off.

    • +5

Haha, so the price to purchase would be negative meaning we would owe you money to provide the good and service? Me too 😅.

  • Any chance of 9060xt 16gb upgrade available?

    • I'll add it now 😁.

      • -2

Love to go with you but I'm looking the other direction. Any plans on a 9950x3d and a 5080?
Also, why do all systems need a drive? If we're upgraders, a lot of us will bring over our ssd…

        • +2

Price likely won't be OzBargain friendly, however can look into it. They all need to come with a drive as they need to be working completely before despatch/pick up. If you're after a 9950X3D with RTX 5080 system, the drive that comes with it is a small cost in comparison to the full system. You are more than welcome to add your own as additional or swap it out. We've had some poor experiences in the past with leaving parts out, sending parts alone, etc. Our support is extremely limited when it comes to this. We aren't able to do this anymore.

          • @Nebula PC: Does a driver mean a HDD?

            • +2

              @Think: The M.2 SSD storage drive. For this system, it'd be the 1TB BIWIN M350 Gen4 M.2 (R: 6000MB/s | W: 5000MB/s).

          • @Nebula PC: Appreciate it! My mouse button is itchy and my Visa card is fearful ahaha.
Understand where you guys are coming from, but this is Ozbargain. We scrimp every dollar so we can save up for the 9950x3d hahaa.

  • When is the GAMDIAS TALOS E3 MESH MID TOWER ATX gonna be in stock or is there any other mid tower options?

    • Not stocked anymore, sorry. If you're after a certain mid-tower option, please let us know. We can add it to the builder for anything that we are currently stocking.

      • I was looking at MSI MAG FORGE 120A or 321R but what else would you have available that is mid tower (no fish tank cases)

        • Just them at this stage for this deal.

  • @Nebula PC Mate any 5070 deals? Thanks

    • +4

I can't confirm anything anymore sorry. IT is such a fast-moving industry, and pricing is changing rapidly. Please keep an eye out for any OzBargain deals that might be suitable for you.

      • +1

Also in the market for a 5070 deal mate. Missed the techfast one and your deals are 400 bucks more. Would love an updated build for eofy if possible

      • For the current 5060 deals, how long does it take to ship after ordering?

    Claude says:

Based on my research, here's my comprehensive assessment of "The Void" PC build:

Overall Rating: 7.5/10 - Solid Value with Some Compromises

    The Good:
Excellent Value Proposition - At $748 AUD after the discount, this is genuinely competitive pricing. Individual RX 7600 cards alone cost $389-419 AUD Radeon RX 7600 | Graphics Cards / GPU | Computer Parts - Umart.com.au, so getting a complete system with these specs is impressive value.
Solid 1080p Gaming Performance - The RX 7600 delivers spectacular 1080p gaming even at Ultra settings, delivering 80 frames per second or more in all games except the exceptionally beautiful Red Dead Redemption 2 AMD Radeon RX 7600 review: Finally, a good, affordable graphics card | PCWorld. The Ryzen 5 5600 is faster than the Core i5 11400 and offers steep competition to the Core i5 12400 while being cheaper Is the AMD Ryzen 5 5600 worth buying in 2024?.
Minimal Bottlenecking - The combination shows only 6.5% CPU bottleneck at 1080p, which is acceptable and below major concern levels PC BuildsPC Builds.
Quality Components - The build includes a fast Gen4 SSD, sufficient 650W PSU, and WiFi-enabled motherboard.

    The Concerns:
    Limited Future-Proofing (6/10):

VRAM Limitation: 8GB VRAM is becoming less acceptable at this price point, and reviewers recommend manually reducing textures even at 1080p AMD Radeon RX 7600 Review | TechSpot. Future games may require the 16GB RTX 4060 Ti to achieve much higher graphical fidelity than 8GB models AMD Radeon RX 7600 Review | TechSpot.
Platform Maturity: AM4 is end-of-life, and you're stuck with DDR4 while the industry moves to DDR5.
CPU Headroom: The Ryzen 5 5600 can handle up to an RTX 3070 without major hiccups Best Budget Gaming PC With Ryzen 5 5600 in 2025, so there's some GPU upgrade path, but limited.

Performance Positioning: The RX 7600 delivers similar performance as the previous generation RX 6650 XT - it's yet another 8GB and 128-bit solution AMD Radeon RX 7600 Review: Incremental Upgrades | Tom's Hardware.
    Gaming Performance Expectations:

1080p: Excellent performance in most titles at high/ultra settings
1440p: At 1440p, bottlenecking drops to acceptable levels below 5% Ryzen 5 5600 and Radeon RX 7600 build | Bottleneck Calculation | PC Builds, but expect to reduce settings
Ray Tracing: Lacks ray tracing chops AMD Radeon RX 7600 review: “I’d only recommend picking this GPU up if it’s going cheap” | GamesRadar+ - not the build's strength

    Market Comparison:
For anything with a decent GPU in Australia, you typically need to pay $800 or more for prebuilts What is the best gaming PC I can buy (prebuilt) in Australia for around $600-700? - Quora. This build undercuts that significantly.

    Recommendations:

    Buy If:

    You primarily game at 1080p
You want immediate good performance without building yourself
    Budget is the primary concern
You're upgrading from much older hardware

    Skip If:

You want to future-proof for 1440p gaming
Ray tracing is important to you
You plan to keep this system for 4+ years
You can stretch budget to $1000+ for newer platform (AM5/DDR5)

    Final Verdict:
At $748 AUD, this is genuinely good value for immediate 1080p gaming performance. However, the 8GB VRAM and older platform mean it's more of a "good enough for now" build rather than a long-term investment. The Ryzen 5 5600 is worth every penny in 2024 for budget-conscious gamers Is the AMD Ryzen 5 5600 worth buying in 2024?, and the pricing makes this competitive with building yourself.
Future-proofing score: 6/10 - Will handle current games well but may struggle with upcoming AAA titles at high settings within 2-3 years due to VRAM limitations.

            • +3

@cydia9k: Don't apologise. I enjoyed reading it. Trying to keep up to date with PC hardware information is a lot of work and I found this valuable.

    • +1

It's harder to future proof low end builds, compromises have to be made to get it to that price point.

  • +1

Please excuse my naivety but how would this perform with meta quest 3 for games such as ACC or Lemans unlimited etc ? Which option here would provide good performance ? Newby

    • It seems like the recommended PC requirements for the Meta Quest aren't that high - https://www.meta.com/en-gb/help/quest/140991407990979/?srslt…. The GPU exceeds the recommended one however, the CPU power may need more grunt. USB C port may also need an adaptor for this rig unless you upgrade the motherboard.

  • +4

Thanks for giving the public more options. I'm sure everyone will take advantage of the hot deals.

  • need a 16gb gfx upgrade option : )

    • Plenty of other more VRAM options available on our other deals however impossible at this price point.

  • Thanks. Any chance of some productivity / visualisation builds?

  • +1

Hi, do you have White case?

    • Not for this deal unfortunately.

  • Any RX 7800XT deals?

    • End of life now, won't be anymore as of today.

  • Has anybody had experience with warranty support from these guys?

I bought a PC late last year and am currently staring down the barrel of a second return to base after more than three months of intermittent (but persistent) issues, more than a hundred emails back and forth with their support, and many many hours trouble shooting, and am wondering if i should be cutting my losses and going the refund route immediately instead of giving them another opportunity to try to fix it. If anybody has any experience with this i would really appreciate hearing about it!

    • +1

A hundred emails? If it’s a lemon then ask for a refund due to major failure under ACL. Must be more to this story? Intermittent makes it hard.

      • I wish there was more to the story. Unfortunately the issue seems to only present after several weeks of daily usage

    • +1

Don't yet have warranty issues but little things like not providing left over screws to mount SSD/HDD that you want to install was annoying. No manuals either but that might be industry wide practice (preferred to have manuals that you can just flick through if you buy the parts to build yourself).

Support brushed me off asking me to source the screws myself or take some off the PSU (?huh)

      • +1

I apologise for the inconvenience. We build our systems to order and typically don't provide the extra screws to mount the additional SSDs or HDDs unless one is purchased or if they are requested. Manuals are recycled appropriately to streamline our operations process and some components don't come with them, unfortunately. The manuals are readily available online.

If you're still short on SSD or HDD screws, let me know, will happily send you a bunch of spare screws.

    • What sort of issues are you having?

      • +1

GPU fails intermittently after several weeks of consistent daily usage.

    • I'm unsure which case this is exactly however when it was returned to us, we'd run tests that would well surpass the capability of any normal usage. If it's still happening, we'll provide an advanced replacement on the GPU if we have it in stock, and if it's faulty with we can replicate the fault. Otherwise, we'll have to send it to the vendor for replacement or repair.

      • Yeah I got the results of the stress test back, and it was clearly put through its paces, which is great. Unfortunately the issue only seems to manifest after several weeks of consistent daily usage - when i got it back it ran without issue for about 3 weeks before the issues started reoccuring. But it is packed up and ready for courier collection today for another return, so hopefully you guys will have better luck replicating the issue this time around!

Thanks for responding and providing some insight!

  • Ordered a 5600/5060 model. Excited! Good use of some tax return money!

    • Thank you for your support ❤️😁.

  • @Nebula PC if the user adds more ram or storage drives themselves, does the warranty stay valid?

    • Yes, as long as there's no user-induced damage. We are also unable to warrant any components not supplied by us unfortunately.

  • Hi Nebula PC team, can I get the parts directly after purchase without waiting for assembling?

    • @Nebula PC

    • Unfortunately not, we've had some poor experiences in the past doing this, and we no longer provide this service. Our support and business is not built for this. The system will need to come working and fully assembled. Typically it incurs more time and costs for us if we were to ship unassembled. I apologise for the inconvenience and I hope you understand.

  • Any chance of any mini-itx builds in the future?

    • Not at this stage due to pricing.

  • Are your delivery times always 7-14 business days?

    • We were a bit backed up from EOFY orders, however have mostly caught up now. Yes, our standard despatch times is 7-10 business days 😁.
