      I would believe it's per month, as these 5GB and 7GB plans they have are for each month.

      So 5GB/7GB per month depending on which you pick.

      Amaysim usually don't let your unused data rolled over next month. That means for every 5GB/7GB, use it or lose it.

      Not quite sure what Amaysim defines a "new customer" as, since it does say "Valid for new amaysim customers only". Should contact them to ask.
      e.g. TPG defines "new customer" as when you exit them and just sign up again.

        Correct me if wrong, from the previous Amaysim deals, new customers seem to be a new service number under an account holder with different names. So if you use the current account (with or without any active number) to order a new sim, you can't get this offer.

        From the deal instruction, it seems that Groupon will firstly send you a voucher, then you can jump onto Amaysim website to order a new sim, enter the Groupon voucher code as promotion code at the end of the order before payment. I guess the outstanding balance for the order will be reduced to $0. Proceed the order and then all left is to wait for the new sim from Amaysim.

      no. most you can get from this is 3 months. These are not voucher. They are SIM cards

      Unless you buy 2 and do the following

      • Redeem 1st one today which would last you June/July/August - First number , port out to another network on 24 August (to be safe that porting proceeds)
      • Redeem 2nd one on last day of offer 27/8/15 -> You should recieve the sim by 1st september. This would last you Sep/Oct/Nov

    Is there anything stopping you from getting 2 x 3 month deals. Use one immediately and activate the second before 27 Aug 2015 ?

    Crunched some numbers if anyone is interested.

    3 months 5GB with 5% CashRewards = $12.08/month
    3 months 5GB with 7.5% PricePal + BuddyBonus = $11.76/month

    2 months 5GB with 5% CashRewards = $11.80/month
    2 months 5GB with 7.5% PricePal + BuddyBonus = $11.40/month

    If you can buy multiples, the 2 month is slightly cheaper but probably not worth the hassle.

    Don't ask me how PricePal & Refer a Buddy works, I've only just joined based up posts above. Yet to actually try it.

      Might be worth getting a $2 sim from another network and porting out of Vaya so you're not going Vaya to Amaysim as same network porting can take a few days apparently.

    Not sure if anyone here will know the answer to this, but I'm planning on moving from Vaya to Amaysim and would like to use this, but I'm conscious of the long port time for an Optus-to-Optus transfer. When I register for the SIM using this offer and put Vaya as my current provider for the port, would I be able to change it later? Thinking of perhaps getting a $2 Voda/Telstra sim to make the port faster.

    Anyone done anything similar? Website doesn't make it too clear.

      I did just that two days ago. Joined Vaya on Tuesday and by Wednesday night I joined Amaysim and opted to port the Vaya number across. In my case the porting, Optus to Optus, took two business days from the time porting commenced through to completion. You will not be able to use the number while this is happening. The quickest way would be to port to Telstra/Voda then back as it only takes 1 hour each way.

      They are different.
      Coles and Woolworths one are for topping up (recharges). These are for new sign ups.

    Has anyone used one of these that was a previous Amaysim customer?
    I've got my $15 living social Amaysim SIM to activate yet. I was planning on porting from optus to Voda on Tuesday then when that runs out I'd port to Amaysim Living social deal then port to Telstra for my $1 Coles sim then finish up on the groupon 3 month Amaysim.
    Don't want to buy it if it doesn't work.

      You don't really make sense… What do you mean by Groupon sending a three pack?

      The Groupon is a VOUCHER it isn't actually the Amaysim service. You purchase it then to activate it you need to go to Amaysim website to do it - they will then send you SIM card out etc.

      Once you do that, it will start your service.

      You have until 27 August to redeem.

    Mine says valid 90 days and plan expires 02 Jul 15. Then i have $5 credit balance on account?
    Data shows 5gb.

    Does this mean 5gb over 3 months? Or it gets reset after 02 jul 15 as 2nd mth kicks in.

      Yeah I bought the three months as well and shows as renewing next on 3rd July. Also shows me having $15 of additional credit, received a text from Amaysim saying it was from using a refer-a-friend link or something but that is only meant to provide $10 so not exactly sure what's going on there.

      Has anyone who took up the deal got in contact with Amaysim to see how it's going to work?

        From what I know from contacting Amaysim is that the coupon should apply the discount over the amount of months it is valid for. (e.g. If you purchased 3 months, the coupon will cover that amount).

        If anything goes wrong, you can easily contact Amaysim to fix it.

          I have spoken with them and apparently for the next 2 months it will deduct $0. Then it will be normally the price your plan will be. If anything wrong as they said in the chat just contact them again.

        Fantastic. Jumping on this deal now, if there was a way i would buy this deal like x 6 so i could get the price ongoing for 18 months, but i imagine expiry dates etc, and ability to unstack, would prevent this from happening. (I could even handle porting out and back in every 3 months if this helped me get this price. but 3 months is awesome enough for me)
        i just hope cashrewards still give cashback for Gropupon, so i get even further discount

        all sorted. emailed amaysim and attached a copy of the invoice from groupon and been reinstated to Unlimited 5GB and also account showing $59.90 balance i.e. 44.90 + 15.00 … so next month will be auto deducted $44.90
