      • That helped me - thanks! I couldn't enrol my partners AMEX (not bank affiliated) card using the first links. That worked for me though.

    Just bought $30 wish gift card. Seems not working for gift card :(

    • how do you know not working?

      • No email from amex yet. Normally there is. Such as congratulations for taking the offer

        • +1

          Did you pay with paywave/paypass?

          Contactless payments normally don't come with email notifications but the credit will arrive in a couple of days.

        • @victorheaven: paypass

        • +1

          @bbqwer:

          In this case, there is still hope.

          Lighten up mate :)

        • +1

          I've also experience not receive a congrat email before, but the credit did come over. in general I usually received one

          I prefer swipe if can

          however, not totally sure. maybe wait… let us know the outcome :)

        • +1

          @leehungfei: i will try later again today without paypass.

          I agree some email never arrive. But credit do arrive.

        • +1

          @bbqwer: Yep I've done many of them with PayPass/PayWave/Contactless, never receive the email but always get the credit!

        • +1

          No biggie
          If you haven't received the rebate in a couple of weeks just call them and they will manually do it for you.

        • @mmd:
          Hi mmd, just curious .. who would you call if that was the case?

          thanks

        • +2

          @Bargainboi:
          Call the amex hotline 1800 059 388. They have a really good call centre. :)
          They did it for me and also zeroed off a couple of interest charges cos I forgot to pay the bill on time. :)
          I dont think it matters if it is a bank issued card as you have registered on the promotion site.

        • @mmd:
          thanks for the quick reply :)
          i wonder if the 1800 059 388 number would work for bank issued amex aswell, incase the credit doesnt come through..

        • @Bargainboi:
          It should do. When u call the number, it will go through an automated process where you have to type in your credit card number and DOB (if I recall correctly). So at this point it will recognise that you're an amex customer and you will be able to choose from the options to speak to customer service.
          Let us know how you go (You should get an congratulations email to say you have successfully activated the deal. Some ppl have experienced issues paying with paywave).

        • +1

          @mmd:
          In our family we have 6 amex cards, and we registered today and spent $30 tonight in store but have not received any emails…
          Surprisingly, with the liquorland offer from previous AMEX Deal, we got the congrats email seconds after paying.
          All the amex cards are "Bank issued amex cards" so thats why i was asking about the number hehe, but I think it should be fine fingers crossed

        • I used my CBA Amex this morning. I usually use Paywave/Paypass, but didn't today just to see whether using chip/PIN instead would trigger the "congratulations" email, and it did - received the email almost immediately after completing the transaction. Stacked this offer with a current Everyday Rewards Offer I received for $10 off a $50 spend, so very happy with that!

    • I bought $30 today with AMEX registered. No email neither. I tried swipe it forced me to use the chip insert. Still no email

  • Saved on my Blue AMEX and my Gold CBA
    I need to buy iTunes Gift Cards as they have 20% off at the moment.. anyone tried it?

  • Thanks for posting this one OP - worked for my CBA card.

  • +1

    I like to buy the next day after activating AMEX offers…for some reason i get glitches (occasionally) buying the same day.

  • seems like there is no more free delivery for new accounts…

  • This time we can use the same card for multiple times until promotion expired. Is that right ?

  • i ll opal top up tomorrow. hopefully it works.

    • +2

      you can also buy giftcard first then wait for everyday reward promo for extra saving on opal top up

      • What EDR promo?

  • is the registration still open ?

    • Yes. Just registered. Thanks OP.

  • Anyone getting a "Due to some technical problem page can not be displayed" when trying the leehungfei link for Bank issued Amex cards. Have tried different browsers and different email accounts and appears after pressing submit/I agree. Don't think it has worked as generally get an email saying welcome to blah blah blah, spend blah blah blah….

  • Any updates on the Cracka Wines one? I've got for my Qantas AMEX, but no love for NAB/ANZ amexs

  • I used swipe to purchase Wish gift card yesterday and I got a confirmation email straight away, but the problem is the cashier lady didn't validate my gift card. need to get back to the store to solve the problem today :(

  • I purchased $30 worth of Woolies stuff today. I registered my AMEX yesterday with confirmation email and also listed on my AMEX account registered "My Offers"….

    Usually you get it straight away an email giving money back

  • +1

    Just bought a $50 iTunes on each of my two cards (currently 20% off).

    Got my confirmation email too.

    Net discount 40% 😀

  • I paid by paypass yesterday, did not receive any email.

    • Used paypass with both my cards, no problems

      • did you get the email?

        • As I said above, yes

          "Your $10 statement credit for spending $30 at Woolworths will be issued to your registered Card account. Statement credits are generally issued within 5 business days upon completion of your eligible transaction"

    • same here, also I have checked my CR account, no transaction shows the payment I made at WWS yesterday either!

  • Confirmed works for iTunes GCs. Purchased 2 iTunes cards today, didn't use paypass. Got my email straight away.
    Will use my other AMEX card tomorrow to buy more.

  • If this offer is shows saved to card, does that mean I have successfully registered for the offer? sorry for my ignorance I have not used these offers before.

  • sweet, was starting to run out of coke so will stock up with this weeks special and stack with this :)

  • Spent $30 on grocery and $30 on gift card at Woolies today. Got emails from Amax straight away.

  • Anyone got problem to log in the everydaygiftcard website to check the balance for those Wish giftcards purchased from WW recently? I got problem with those giftcards these two days purchased from WW. it keeps saying incorrect card number & pin. I doubt is it because of $1 million e-giftcard news on TV or it just happens to me only.

    • Are you entering the full 628000555… number?

  • yes, it requires to enter all 19 number.

  • So can you purchase a $30 Woolies Wish Card with this offer? DOes it work even though the T&C say Gift Cards are not allowed?

    • +1

      I purchased #40 Gift Cards with multiple AmEx cards on Tuesday. All were purchased using paypass. Only received 1 congratulations email, but have received the $10 credit on all of the cards by today.

    • I bought gift card and some groceries few days ago. just got my $10 tonite:)

  • Wow, I just purchased alchy at BWS attached to my local Woolies (Vic) and unexpectedly got an email saying I've recieved my $10 rebate because I fulfilled my $30 spend! Happy days =)

    • So you mean can go the BWS for this promo?

      • I can't confirm 100% for others, but I received it tonight. I didn't expect it, so was a nice suprise!

  • Do they have $100 and $200 prepaid Visa cards at Woolworths that you can purchase with an Amex card?

    • Yes prepaid Mastercard but there is a $5 fee to load the card.

  • +11

    Thanks OP. Bought a $460 wish gift card today with my 12 Amex cards + Groupon BigW e-gift card. Receipt was over a metre long!

    • Nicely done. Care to list out how you got 12 Amex cards (and which ones)?

      • +4

        Amex Platinum Edge + 6 supplementaries = 7
        ANZ FF Black
        ANZ FF Platinum
        ANZ FF
        CBA Plat Rewards
        NAB Qantas Rewards

        Here's a pic of the receipt :)
        http://imgur.com/66c3ZG0

        • Haha you should have supplementaries on all the other cards as well!!

          Btw your ANZ FF cards - did you apply for all those during the promotional period last year around July/August? i.e. you got bonus points for all 3 of those cards independently? If yes, that is awesome.

        • No annual fees on 12 cards?

        • +2

          @illumination:
          Yes and yes. I'm due to cancel the FF Black soon though to avoid the annual fee

          @spacecowboy:
          Only for the Platinum Edge which used to be $99 but I think it's gone up to $149 now

        • now $195

        • +1

          @IanC: 149 corporate / professional body

        • @takamine:
          How did you get the other bank issued AMEX cards free of annual fees? I thought bank issues AMEX cards usually have annual fees unless you have a home loan with them.

        • -1

          thanks for info….will tell them when up for renewal will cancel unless get it at $149

        • @takamine:

          I like how you replied to the comments lol.
          Nice work with all the CCs!

          @Joe888:

          There are always promos by the banks trying to fight for new customers by offering significant bonus points offers + waiving the first year annual fee. Very common. The one takamine applied for was this.

          @IanC:

          You only get it for $149 if you're part of one of those corporations otherwise it's $195.. unless you're saying you're just going to try fight them for it anyway?

    • top effort

    • +1

      Wow. How did you process the payments? Self checkout or register? I'm assuming self checkout since you would have probably pissed off the cashier and the people behind you if you used register?

      • Yep self checkout during non-peak hour traffic. Took about 7 minutes.

    • Hate to be around you if you lost that gift card after all that work

  • Just did it today using 4 AmEx cards for our weekly shopping. Still have 2 more to use up for next weeks shopping. FYI, this is between myself and my wife.

    Basically clocked up $30 on the self checkout register then paid for it with a card and repeated this.

    I was considering doing this via a single transaction and splitting the payments across the four cards (which I think would have worked) but I was not 100% sure if the system would allow me to split the payment across four or more cards.

    • confirmative. I did a split payment across 2 cards today and received 2 amex email

    • it will work with split payment of $30 for each card

  • I managed to screw this up yesterday. Made sure I bought stuff that was just over $30. Girl scanned it through, but I didn't realise that a couple of items were reduced after she scanned in my everyday rewards card, so total was then below $30. Keyed in my pin and then realised it was now $27. ####. Have to go back again now. :-(

    • +8

      You can spend additional $3.00 in order to receive the $10 statement credit. You don't need to spend another $30. To receive the $10 statement credit - U need to spend in ONE or MORE transactions added up above $30.

    • +2

      2308 is correct. Ts & Cs taken from my Amex saved offers:

      Register by saving the offer to Card and spend $30 or more, in one or more transactions, in-store or online at Woolworths before 06/07/15 to receive one $10 statement credit. Limited to the first 50,000 Cards to register.

  • Can anyone confirm if gift cards really work? I am getting nervous as I didn't get email.

    • +2

      Here's my transaction history if it makes you feel better. See my post above.
      http://imgur.com/voJ8Gzf

      • Is it not just once per card ?

        • +1

          Correct. Once per card but I have 12.

        • +1

          @takamine: 12. That's insane. OB in the making !!!

  • +1

    I have used three different cards - Two payments via Paypass and one via swipe.

    Surprisingly, I have not received $10 for any transaction as yet.

    Is there any way to fix this issue?

    P:s I did receive registration email for each card.

    • You need to spend $30 on each card and a few days later each statement gets a $10 credit. If you did that, sit back and wait a few days, all will be fine

    • Yes same with me, I am still waiting to see the statement credit or a confirmation email.

      I also registered the cards and then went down to Woolworths the same day. I wonder if you're not meant to go until the next day? This is what the T&Cs say:

      Only valid transactions made:

      1. on your Registered Card;
      2. during the Offer Period and after the date you register your Card

      Interestingly I also registered for the McDonald's statement credit and was able to use that the same day. I received an email instantly to say I have claimed the credit.

  • Registered for this offer, went shopping and had an email from AMEX by the time I got home :) Thanks OP!

  • very nice deal… had another EDR offer spend $50 and get $10 instant off, combine it with this offer… did the shopping for $50 paid with Amex.. so net $50-10-10= $30 + i get the fuel voucher saving of another $2 if i fuel up 50 liters

  • +1

    How much tax will Amex Australia pay this year?

  • I got my $10 Credit :-)

  • Like many others, I didn't seem to get the credit (used two different cards from two different banks).

    No email after purchase (where as got them straight away with other AMEX network deals), and checking balances many days after purchase, no credit.

    Quite disappointing.
