I would rather spend an extra $2.02 and buy - SK68 Cree XPE Q5 Torch for $3.66 Delivered, with code SKQ5GB

    • How do I plug that into my laptop?

      • -5

You don't have to plug it into anything, don't you own Eneloops?

    • Oh yea and then how will you use it with your laptop…

      • -1

Just turn it on at the switch.

        • The item at the top is USB powered; you plug it into a spare USB port on your laptop to provide light, keeping both hands free. You've suggested holding a torch, keeping only one hand free. Now, please tell us how your suggestion is better…

    • Do you have a link to one that takes an 18650?

These are more useful in environments where the smaller size can be utilized due to a power source already being present.

As an example, it'd be great for with a laptop that doesn't have a backlit keyboard; could simply plug it in and position it to shine across the keyboard.
As another example, if you're already taking a powerbank somewhere, this is only ~50grams more for a small light source. That's a lot better than an extra 200-300+ grams for even a small torch.

LOL, so if you are typing on the laptop with both your hands, the only way to hold it is to put it in your mouth, like you are sucking a dildo.

      • I wouldn't know what that's like.

I just got one from ebay that looks exactly like this lamp.

Be warned that it doesn't have a switch (which I didn't realise until I received it) so you have to constantly plug it in and out.

    Also, it gets very hot.

I would spend a little extra to get one with a switch.

  • Seems like a good price, if genuine?
I paid 5.99 (which used to be 4.99) from mushtato (sp?) when combined with a power bank order recently, bugger.
I would still used them, happy with their service/price, I have the slim 5000 & 16000.

Might get a couple of these, as dyl said, my lame laptop doesnt have backlit keys and has a valid point about its light weight.

    Thanks OP.

  • I got one from them in the past, pretty powerful light. Just ordered another 3 to get further discount. All three for AUD $4.02.

Looks the same as this one: AU $1.17 from Hong Kong

They're not Xiaomi ones so they're not as bright and some versions have yellow lights instead of white. Also tend to get very hot.

    • Was wondering this. Thanks!

  • Some fake one(I bought from ebay) bend the other way, so if you put it on your laptop, it shine outward.

    • From my experience would not trust AllBuy
