when you add the code, it goes from 58c to $1.45. Is this an anti-bargain ???

    • +7

You need to LOG-IN first JV… as is clearly stated on the check-out screen.

      • +17

        Thanks…

Kid's Xmas presents all sorted now…

        • Don't forget the other half too… Sure it's enough for them as well.

  • +1

    Ordered 20?

    • Ordered 100?
Maybe i'll sell them at $1 each?
Or maybe every kid under 10 has a prezzy from unkle ozy in my cirle

  • +11

Got one.. What did I buy exactly?

  • Umm? Ok, then

  • +2

Used one of these before, it comes with a slingshot kinda thing, and you sling the helicopter into the air and it comes flying down with it's lights flashing

    • they were all the rage in SE Asia a few years ago. Everywhere I went they were selling them.
Just keep an eye on the batteries with kids. They are cheap and nasty and prone to leak… But they are fun :)

      • I bought like 40 to give to friends almost 5 years ago (physically purchased them in china). Its great especially at night time except when the wind blows hard and they drift off into the nether. Luckily the light lets u find it pretty easily :)

  • +1

you ever get your stuff form gearbest? it's been two months now since I last order my torchlight..

    • +3

Two months only? Did you select express?
Ttthhheeeeyyyy Aaaaarrrrreeee Slllloooww…… But you get what you paid for right? And paypal makes it refundable if it doesn't show up so you gotta learn to win without winning?!

      • +1

Nah..no express..only a $2 item lol ..guess I can wait for up to 6 months until paypal's cover eh?

  • +1

Are these the ones you see in the city streets that get flung up into centre point?

  • thanks, ordered.

  • exact same thing sold in front of the beach on Gold Coast for $ 7 each.

  • Is it one per house hold as claimed? Cause you can add max 10 per account.

    • You may be able to "add 10", but the code can only be used once per account; so if you want more than one, they're gonna cost you whatever the normal price is. Unless you start making more accounts… hardly worth it for a little spinny thing with an LED stuck on it.

    • +1

Ordered 30 and only charging me $4.06aud. Will be using as a giveaway present for my kids birthday party.

  • -6

If the $3 Torches got delivered DOA, I don't like anyone's chances of these 10c things working.
I'll never buy from Gearbest again. :(

  • +1

Got given one of these in Phuket a few years back. The LED was broken after about the third drop lol, and that was on grass so… Might be worth it just for the little round batteries inside.

    • That's useful feedback. I bought about 1/2 a dozen. 1 failed quickly - the rest lasted a few months (at least), except for being torn by fighting toddlers.

  • These were fun. But strong rubber bands, sharpish end and children? Suggest you also get them safety glasses.

  • +8

Holy mother of f***! Bought this for my kids in Gold Coast the other day for $8 each. The girl with German accent can even do $15 for 2 with a sympathy smile on her face.

Gonna buy 20 now as a revenged purchase :))

    • +1

I got 3 for $15 on the gold coast. Also bought 20

    • Paid the equivalent of 60c each in Xian recently, looks like even that was expensive :/

      • +1

I think I got mine at 3 or 4 for a dollar … But the dollar was worth AUD 30c, making them about 10c each … But the trip to Asia didn't justify the saving :)

  • +1
  • +2

    Now that's a cheap drone…

  • "Feature Type: Chinese" ??

  • +3

Maybe buy a few, just in case… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GzgavGowD_A

    • So that's what fireplace screens are for..

  • Thank you. Bought 3. Not sure why.

    • Are all you dudes who are buying more than one paying the full 58 cents after the first one, or is there some way around the 'once per account' term on this code?

      • I've just bought 20 for $0.10 USD each (don't ask why that many, got raped hard by German girl in Gold Coast). You just need to log in and apply to code.

      • 3 for 0.30usd

  • Ordered :) probably 5mins of fun with the toddler but oh well :)

  • +3

Why did I just by 20 of these? I only have 2 kids - damn you ozbargain!

  • Ordered 10 … Hopefully worth playing with it.

  • Ordered 10, thanks OP.

  • +1

Hmm coffee today, or 40 helicopters…?

  • Just bought 40 , no idea why

    • You could flog them down at the beach for $7 each, like so many are already doing.

  • did people buy 40 of the same colour or 10 of each colour? =p
i also plan to buy 40 lol, and will save the money by not buying one drink at the pub this weekend lol

actually looks like you can buy in different colours, just bought 40 in different colours lol
    $5.25 AUD it appears..

  • Suddenly ozbargain all have children..

    • *are children

  • Bought 100, only charged 100x50, didn't charged full amount, they must guava infinite stock, oh well more fun for the kids then.

    • Hopefully they
      1) Honour the deal for those who bought large quantities (I bought 30)
      2) don't stuff our postbags with DOA helicopters like Gearbest did with the recent Cree deal :(

  • +2

So, I logged in and added 2 of each colour into the cart (total 8). It shows me $4.64 and when I enter the discount code, the price goes up to $6.20 and it says the following: "Coupon code can only be used with one piece price, it can not be used with vip price, special offer, group deal at the same time."

How did you all manage to order more than 1 with the USD 0.10 price?

    Thanks.

    • Yeh, I got the same thing. Id guess the deal is over :)

      • Can still get 1 of each colour (so 4 in total) for 0.40USD

        • Thanks Benjamin, it worked and I could still get 4 :-)

    • +2

Appears to be "patched". But can still buy 4 at 10c each, just 1 of each colour. I put 2 orders through so 8 in total.

  • Got error: this code does not exist. Guess it was over.

  • Not yet. Just placed 2 orders (separate accounts) - 1 of each colour. so total 8. Doesn't allow to use the code twice in same account. Paypal charged AUD 55c for each order.

  • Gonna see many of these up sky high on Xmas expect to be all ozbargainers.

    • xmas 2016 maybe …

  • +3

    code has expired

    • +1

I get the same. Oh well.

  • i just got refunded~

  • Just got shipping email (only ordered 1)

  • status shows:refund

  • +1

I just got refunded for 6 pieces.

    • x2 but for the 10 I ordered

  • Refunded too

  • Just got refunded too without any explanation, revoked my Pos.

  • same. what the heck!!??

  • Site has been OB'd - I'm guessing they didn't mean to allow quantity more than 1. I got the refund too for 20.

  • Refunded :(

  • refunded, too :(

  • yep same here, refunded with no explanation

  • they refunded me too..no explanation

  • My order has been shipped! But I chose TOLL priority postage and got Sweden mail :( http://imgur.com/jwAitgx

  • refunded here for the 8 i bought.

gearbest is so shit. i've had problems with them before(item took about 6 months to arrive), so i will not use them again

  • Refunded :(

  • Refunded all my orders for the 100 i purchased.
I've always liked gearbest but without explanation they can stick it

  • My order shows its been shipped, but i only ordered one of each colour.
    The wait begins…

    • dang. All I had to do was be reasonable and I could have had a few, instead of being greedy and getting nothing. There's a lesson to be learned here…. don't trust gearbest.

      • Lol, its gearbest's fault for sure! Greediness be damned!

  • refunded no email or anything just a note in paypal.

  • My order has arrived in full. Took 3 weeks but work the $8ish I paid. Sorry to hear others' bad stories :(

  • Turned up in today's mail :)
