Walking through Big W and found a range of switches from netgear on a price drop. Could possibly be other Big W stores but can confirm the Capalaba store in Qld has these in stock with about 5-10. Also there is fast ethernet and Adsl modem routers for under $30 Enjoy

  Just get the metal tp-link model from MSY. It's much better the netgear.

  I wouldn't touch this model - have seen lots of failures (slow ports, overheating, case going brown.
  If you want Netgear, go for the metal case models (lifetime wty too I think).

    I have 2 of these. They perform fine; but they do have a tendency to lock up at times and sometimes the speeds will drop down to 100MB/s. A quicker restart and they're off again. I got mine really cheap so I'm not too phased by the issues :)

  +1 for the metal version, been rock solid as my network backbone for over a year with good gigabit speeds.

  FWIW. I've been using a TP-Link for quite a few years now with no issues. It's a cheap model; $25 for 8port (+postage)
