I have been shopping for an A3 printer for a couple of weeks now, and finally grouping these 2 ideas with a price match at HarveyNorman's… Brother MFC-J6920DW for $155 -ALL STATES!!

    That's a really good price.
    I got a Brother MFC-6490CW that I bought circa 2008, cost me a bomb (~$500). Still working allright. I believe that was the only A3 multifunction for home users at that time under $1000. Wondering if there will be much improvement if I were to get this one as a replacement (eg. more efficient, faster printing, etc)? My main issue with my printer is that it produces wobbly lines sometimes (bad for technical drawings)

    I'm waiting for a time when A3 laser printer gets a bit more affordable but looks like it's not gonna happen anytime soon :(

    That is a great effort.

    I just bought it for $300 and get $100 cashback from Brother. I am not going to apply for another credit card for $50.

      A3 needed in my case.
      Brother my preferred brand as they have larger ink cartridges.
      Generic ink this time for me.

        I am printing A3 documents and A4 and print jobs are usually over 100+ pages.

        The dual tray feature and multiple A3 prints is the kicker.

        I am looking into 1L bottles of ink.
        Would love a set of 4x1L :)

    I bought this printer last year when Brother had $100 cashback.
    I asked Hardly Normal to match $309.
    I used Amex card to get $30 statement credit from Amex.
    Then I claimed $100 cashback from Brother.
    $309 - $30 - $100 = $179

    I bought this printer few months ago. Not really happy with it as the rear feed tray onky takes in one sheet at a time and sometimes doesn't even detect paper there or takes it in crooked.

        No $309, I didn't feel it was worth haggling over $9.
