Samsung SL-C460FW Colour Laser Printer $211.59 @ Dick Smith (or Price Match from TGG)

90

Looking for a colour laser printer? No pick up available from dicksmith but TGG is selling them for $299 and you can do price match or if you are lucky you can get 120% of the difference. I bought it last night from TGG ebay store because of the ebay $50 voucher deal and went to pick up this morning. However they only offered me price match. Still a good deal to get a wireless and NFC laser colour printer for $200.

And a question why it is colour not color?

  • uhm… sorry, i am a bit lost… what kind of bargain do we have here?

edited : ok, disregard my question above.. seems like you had updated the title…

    • it was $299…

  • Because this isn't America..

    • Ah…I see. I learnt American English.

      • F off, we're full :D Canadian :D :D

        • @manic: Regular double double and a bear claw please and thank you. Throw in a 12 pack of timbits too! Rooooll up the rim to win!!! :)

      • Mmm yes…many words are spelt differently, just like "colour". E.g. Mum/Mom, many words with s are spelt with z (capitalise/capitalize etc).

  • Generic toner is available.

However the price is a bit steep. You are looking at approx $40 per toner which is rated at 1000 pages (1500 - Black).

    • +1

Steep. I can for under $20 delivered get a generic 1500 page black toner cartridge for my Bother DCP-1510 mono multifunction printer. Samsung toner is so expensive compared to that.

      • Exactly what I was going to say.

If one needs B/W printing only, invest in a Brother printer that takes a TN2250 toner. Its generally $18 for 2600 page rated toner.

        • Damn, Officeworks have that toner for $130.45!

      • My Black toner is about to run out for my brother printer, which generic toner do you recommend?

    • Why don't use compatible toner? that would be much cheaper and normally no damage to your machine

      • +1

Generic toner = compatible toner lols

    • Yeah sounds pretty expensive…My generic xerox toner was 30 bucks for 2.2k pages.

Just make sure you don't buy it from Officeworks if you want to get the cashback:

Any links to a good deal for a Brother Laser Colour Printer?

  • I was pretty much on the way to Officeworks to buy this mono laser multifunction printer.

Is it worth picking up something like this Samsung for significantly cheaper?

    • that one is mono

      • Which is why I linked the equivalent mono printer to compare!

Will the printer be much cheaper, but I'll be shafted on toner?
