It says that you need a membership, but I believe the link will take you straight to the deal without requiring 500px membership.

    save $1.50 !!!

    • actually, save $1.50 per month which over 12 months is $18 !!!

Then the title should say $102/year

        • No, because it's a monthly discount. My example was for someone who utilises the full 12 month discount. Others may only use it for 6 months.

I think the title of "$8.50/month (First Year only)" is pretty much spot on.

          @Evil-Elmo:

Sorry buddy, unfortunately jv is correct this time, kinda. It's a yearly subscription paid monthly.

Also note that it's AUD 8.50/month. The blurb in the OP says 7.99 USD which is closer to AUD 10.

          Here's the fine print:
Offer valid for purchases of an annual plan, which requires a 12-month contract.

        • @derfel.cadarn:
In that case, you (and JV) are right re the $102/year part. Thanks for pointing out (I didn't look into it in that much detail as I'm not taking up the offer).

  • too late, just signed up last month :-(

You can also check with your company / university to see if they have an enterprise (ETLA) version of Creative Cloud that allows you to purchase a cheap home use license (similar to the microsoft thing).

I pay $12/year for it, pretty good value.

    • I assume that is for a single app?

      • No, I get all of the apps. It doesn't include all the fonts on Typekit though, I'm not sure if that is a normal restriction of Creative Cloud.

        • You will get only Photoshop CC and Lightroom CC (Desktop + Mobile)

        • @snowcold:
I have an ETLA license like @rakkie. It includes ALL the Creative Cloud apps.

ie, I have Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, Flash, Acrobat, Dreamweaver, Premiere, Indesign, and many more I've never bothered to install.

All for about $12.80 PER YEAR.

        • @Gareth: Well that is a true BARGAIN then!! I assume most people are paying $600 a year ($50 a month) like me.

    • For NSW DEC employees see: https://e5.onthehub.com/WebStore/ProductsByMajorVersionList.…

Products available include Microsoft Office ($23.25), Windows 8.1 Professional ($23.25) and Adobe Creative Cloud ($12.25 p.a.).

EDIT: also noteworthy: Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac (Multilanguage) for $49.99

  • Does this come with Lightroom?
