320

Update: looks like more stock of the zinc shed has been added due to popular demand :)

Hi all

I was in the market for a garden shed and needed something big enough for a mower and wheel barrow. Plus I have very limited space in the backyard.
This fit some space I had free perfectly.

Came across some Absco sheds on sale online. I personally bought the 1.52m X 1.52m X 2.06m shed in cream for $179.
Added bonus is the free delivery of the shed, which weighs about 45kg I think.

Bunnings sell the same shed for $387

These are great quality sheds. Some models can be fitted with cyclone kits which is a must here in Queensland.

Ordered a zinc coloured one, because I am a TRUE OZ-Bargainer at heart :) :)

Sweet! Thanks OP, been meaning to get a small shed for a while now.

I also went with Zinc to save $30 over the coloured ones :P

2 in stock of the zinc after I ordered. 9 each of the green ones and 5 cream.

  • I just picked up the Absco premier 2.26 x 1.95 x 1.52m version at Bunnings for $269. Price matched with a deal from Mitre10. Currently sells for $546.

Free delivery may be worthwhile over a Bunnings pricematch for those who don't have a long ute tray or trailer.

    • OldBugger is that still current at Mitre10?

      • The catalogue special ended 10 May. But they come up every few months

        • Thanks. :)

  • I need a narrow shed for an upcoming job - this mob are about $70 cheaper at http://www.ausheds.com.au/absco-ezislim-shed-colorbond-steel… . Free delivery to depot.

To reply to my own post - I couldn't/wouldn't buy from these blokes anyways as their cart is broken and their numbers are disconnected when tried to phone! :P

  • where is the free delivery? it appears only to the store.

    88$ for home delivery !

    • That sucks.
it came up with free delivery for me once I put in my address details. 2570 delivery for me.

Did you choose one of the free delivery sheds?

    • Those that have free delivery, are marked as such. The others do not.

  • Plus there now seems to be a Bonus MasterLock Padlock (worth $13.99) with every shed.
Click on the bonus MasterLock button on the home page, then click +ADD TO CART for the selected shed (Padlock $0 should be added automatically)

No worries. I'm just going to buy and use some concrete slabs from the local landscaping place.

Cbb pouring my own concrete for it.

      • Yeah same here, can't be arsed and also don't want the expense of pouring a slab. When you say 'concrete slabs', do you mean like those large heavy pavers?

        • +1

          Yup, those

        • @ssjmark: Could you let me know where you can get these slabs.

        • @azm: check your local landscaping supply store.
2 in my area (Warratah landscaping and Narellan sand and soil) has them

        • @ssjmark: Thanks. I will check with the local suppliers. All i knew is Bunnings and Masters in my area :-)

  • They have added EOFY Garden Shed 1.52m x 0.78m CREAM colour for $129 (only 2 left) …free pickup from store or add delivery:
