Showing as $18 for me? and $40 for the 83 piece

    • Me too… and out of stock Adelaide Airport SA

    • Me too. But look at the bright side, $40 for 83 piece, it said I save $20 on that. Seems legit.

  • different price for different stores / states perhaps?

  • same here.

$40 and $18 for me too

$18 for me too @ Chullora NSW

    • -1

      Same. Masters locations suck

      • Considering how big the store is, i'd say Chullora is a pretty fair place to put it.

  • Strange. Definitely showing $10 on my screen. I can screen shot if anyone would like?

Showing out of stock in all the stores I've checked in Melbourne for the $10 one. Got any hints as to which ones HAVE stock?

    • South Morang, Braybrook, Sunshine and Burnside showing in stock.

      • They may not be the same price though. If you change your store to those stores it may show different prices.

      • Showing stock but still 18 & 40 :(

  • Prices are different for different states

    • Prices are different on a store basis not on a state basis.
For example, Oakleigh South is $40 for the large set (has stock), but Box Hill shows $22 (no stock)

    • Masters is asinine due to this. It is a big big reason that I use bunnings because I can't be bothered dealing with this cr*p.

  • Would they not price match each other, given that they price match other stores?

    • +6

nope, they dont price match each other. asked via their live chat about a dyson a few months ago.
      stupid masters.

      • Seems a little ridiculous that they don't even price match each other. Surely it's the same as price matching against a 'Bunnings' or something..

        • Worse still is my local store is showing stock but not allowing click and collect. Only option is to pay $75 for truck delivery.

$18 for the 41 piece and $40 for the 83 piece in North Bris

  • $18 for the 41 piece and $40 for the 83 piece in the whole WA

  • $18 and $40 and no stock

  • Is V Line - Value Line? meaning budget range?
    and $18 for me Qld.

    • I thought V-line was a regional train service in Victoria

Also known as the landing strip in some depilatory circles

        • oh er.

18 and 40 here in ACT

  • It was showing as $10, then when I entered postcode price went to $18 and staying that way.

If the drill bits are any good, then still good price.

  • Western suburb stores showing as $18 Braybrook - Burnside - Williams Landing - Sunbury

  • out of stock

    Hawthorn East
    Box Hill
    Northland

    :(

    In stock

    Oakleigh South
    South Morang

    • Oakleigh South & South Morang sells the 83pc for $40 which explains why they are still in stock.

  • $18 and showing stock in the Tingalpa QLD store but nowhere else around Brisbane and no stock of the $40 version at all.

    • -1

No, stock is showing at Springfield Central. However, once you log in, the price changes from $10 and $22 to $18 and $40. I spoke to them and they won't honour the price on the website unless you can place a click and collect order to their store at the cheap prices (which I can't because the higher prices are displayed for that store).

  • Lots of stock near me, but all prices are $10 to $20 more.

  • +2

The 83 piece shows $22 for me when I select a store that is out of stock, and $40 when I select a store that has stock.

Dodgy enough for me to ring Masters head office and ask WTF.

Their explanation is that the stores showing it at $22 did have it at that price, and sold out, and will not be restocking it. These are the stores that have recently been renovated.

It remains a stock item in the stores that list it at $40, but when those stores eventually renovate, they will also no longer stock it, and may also reduce their final stock to $22.

One final point - a guy at work said he had one of these, and it was low quality crap. He said that he wouldn't recommend it even for $22.

  • $75 delivery !!! What !!!!!!

  • got the 91 piece for $35

    oakleigh south victoria

  • Here's a 90 piece set for $30 save $5 at Morayfield Qld. Cant work them out

  • Please bear in mind guys, in case you changed mind after purchased it's pretty hard to do return in Masters.
With Bunnings no question, they will do it straight away.

I've only had to return something to Masters once, but there was no problem whatsoever. It was effectively a "change of mind" return, since I decided that I wanted a different model instead.
