Would you put your faith in $15 snow chains?.

    • They're steel chains… you looking for gold pated 2chainz for swag?

      • You mean these same snow chains which are banned in parts of Victoria. Doesn't sound like some thing I would place my trust in.

  • These would be good insurance for someone that has a light/softroad 4x4 and goes camping with it in out of the way places. E.g go into an area to camp, then 200mm of rain falls that weekend. Troubles with the Muddy track coming out. They do work for mud but rip the track a new one.

  • I remember last time I paid $18 (at Jindabyne ski hire) for a pair of these. There wasn't even snow on the roads but the guy at the shop said even though there is no snow on the road, by law, you must have chains in your car (front wheel) or your get fined $300 or something.
