Sweet as dude, I just got the new Call of Duty from the Steam sale. And my mum just bought me seventeen packets of doritos.

Sorry, Call of Duty from the Steam sale won't work on Xbox 360

anyone got any dank deals on hand lotion?

    i mIss old Mountain Dew.

    • +2

Yeah, they changed the recipe didn't they?

The new one sucks. The old one was WOW.

      • yeah I don't know why they couldn't bring out the new one as a separate line like overseas. I like Voltage but have been having trouble finding any lately, only code red which I don't like.

40% more caffeine than Coke, and 15% more sugar. Knock ya self out……….

  • read on Choice. Mountain Dew has 3 more teaspoons of sugar than Coke for 600ml. 19tsp v 16 tsp (610ml Boost blueberry low fat smoothie is 22teaspoons).

    • I know you're not complaining. But ultimately, I have to add - who cares?

If you're trying to be healthy, you don't drink any kind of soft drink. Because whatever you're drinking, it's bad for you.

In the same way that Coke Life is a stupid product vs regular coke.

Bit schocked at the 'Boost low fat' one though.. because that's nasty marketing creating a false impression to customers.

How? Sugar itself has no fat.

        • Yeah, they aren't lying. But it's being sold as a healthy alternative, which it isn't.

        • @justtoreply:
Yeah. That's how I see the whole of Boost - appears to be and is marketed as this super healthy drink addition to your diet, when really those things can be so calorie loaded they're a meal in themselves (and often cost as much as one too lol)

      • yeah, I don't really care either, you don't drink soft drinks for health reasons. Dad brought over his old Choice mags and I saw this last night.

People may say Boost has sugar from fruit but have you seem how little fruit they put in the drinks, about a tablespoon if that. The sugar would be from the cheap apple juice and cheap yogurt they use.
They are not lying, it is low fat…
Its the same with low fat biscuits, most have double the normal salt content and more sugar.

If you're already going to drink 16tsp of sugar… 3 more isn't really going to be a deciding factor in not drinking it. Like taking a dropping the bacon from a double bacon cheese burger for health reasons!

  • Damn, being in Hobart we miss out on a lot of these freebies.

But, as luck was on my side, the fam were in Sydney for the weekend, and as I rang to get me some MD!, they tell me they just left Central station on the way to the airport…..arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • Which exit is it near?

  • any bottles of red wine being given away there also?

does it break the rules jv?

  • Just saw the doco The Sugar Man….. Watch it to see the effects of mountain dew….on kids teeth!!!!;;

Bit extreme there though. Mum's putting it in babies bottle. That 17 year old kid getting his 26 tooth stumps ripped out drank 12 cans a day of the stuff so no surprises really.

      Anything in moderation…

      • Yeah only in America, but it show's what it does to kid's teeth….

  • does this cause things to shrink?
