  • If it is indeed a 10% discount on those packs, why is the 10g pack discounted from $54 to $50 - and not to $48.6?

Thanks for the comment. It was a calculation mistake. We are fixing it now.

Is this saffron from Iran or India or Greece?

Great prices even without the discount!

    • $6,750 per kg for the 1g packs…

$140,000/kg at woolies which I guess makes this a bargain

        • +1

Perhaps, but at Woolies, that would come with 139,970 Qantas Frequent Flyer points…

Spanish saffron is different from Persian saffron. Persian saffron is normally three times more expensive than Spanish simply due to the quality and the weather conditions where the flower grows. We could provide Persian saffron with this affordable price due to the fact that we could buy it straight from farmers by giving them the money they truly deserve and cut down the middle men to bring the savings to you.

Now that's oversimplifying things a little. Price depends more on grade than location of origin first and foremost.

What is the grade of the Persian saffron you are offering? Is it sargol?

        • That is also a factor. Our saffron is Grade-1 All red Sargol

MMMMmmmmm I can clearly see the difference betwn Spanish & Persian version.. :)
