I was wondering the same thing. I can't see that number clearly in the catalog but it seems to be CL12300. The good guys website does not have any Telstra cordless phones.

cotd is sold out but lists some more details on this phone. https://m.catchoftheday.com.au/product/telstra-12300-dect-6-…

Wikipedia has an article on DECT. 6.0 is marketing lingo for US and Canada, but "The term DECT 6.0 is also sometimes inappropriately used in Australia that uses the same allocated spectrum frequencies as Europe." Range is 100m outdoors but much less indoors due to obstructions such as walls. And on the plus side, "generally immune to interference from other DECT systems, Wi-Fi networks, video senders, Bluetooth technology, baby monitors and other wireless devices." https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Enhanced_Cordless_Te…

    • was watching a video on youtube showing you can increase range with Bluetooth

If its like any other telsta cordless I have had it will be garbage.
I recently replaced mine with a kmart special (Vtech) which runs rings around it.

Those Lexar JumpDrives, all JumpDrives actually, have a nifty little extra for the panaroid- free use of Encryptstick Lite.

  • Why cant I see the $10 telstra phones onlines? Been waiting a with my other phone almost dying out

Hi, I used to work for a major retailer, and Telstra were always one of the worst brands. Noisy & unreliable. It depends on your budget, though, but don't expect too much for $10.

    ANy $1 item?

  • I'm interested in the shaver. Anyone here currently use this model. Keen to hear your feedback.

Great deal on the phone though.

I used to use the shaver and it was decent for it's price, but the only issue I had was that it would miss hairs in a few places and I'd have to go over several times.

I got a Phillips shaver (not the same one mine cost over $200) from the good guys and it was useless. "the good guys" were very oppositional about returns.

  • any review for Philips Soundbar 60W With Subwoofer HTL2160 $99 Was $189 (Add $1 item Get $20 Storecredit

    it's worths $99?

    • +1

I've got it and it's pretty decent. I've had a full system before - 5.1 surround sound, the works… and this obviously doesn't compare. However my living room now is smaller, and it does the job quite well for that price. Decent bass and all, if you're not looking to tear the house down. I use it for music too (bluetooth via my iPod). I don't blast my TV though, but if you do this wouldn't be good. But if you're just looking for something that'll give you decent sound, you can't beat this at $99 I reckon.

One of the reviewers mentioned that there is no different between the TV sound… I dunno what TV he has, but there's a HUGE difference with just about every TV I've heard. I've got a Soniq, which makes it even more huge (why can't huger be a word?).

Thanks for your opinion. Will buy one now.
Wasn't interested initially based on what that reviewer said.
