32GB SanDisk Extreme microSDHC $24 - Futu Online eBay

980
C20EXTRA

Seems like a pretty good price to me for those after smaller capacity and better speeds than the recent Sandisk Ultra deals.

Previous highly voted TA deal was $28 from PC Byte - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/199175
Currently $43 at PC Byte.

  • Looks like a good deal.

32GB, for those who are wondering. Might want to put that in the title.

  • Cheers, good price
(Note; this is UHC Class I, not III, but that should not be an issue for most people)

  • The one at PC Byte is a newer UHS-3 card.

    • That's the 32GB Extreme Pro $52.

      • No, there is also normal Extreme UHS-3 available now, not just Extreme Pro. Go look into PC Byte site.

    • +1

This one also says 'Meets the new UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) specification' in the description.(although it has a lot of asterisks that don't lead anywhere…)
I'm no expert though, there could be some nuance I'm missing.

      • They may have forgot to replace either the picture or the description.

        • Ah I see it now. the 1 inside the U on the card, as opposed to the 3. Yeah, that's possible.

          @silent1: Right. Good to know. Here's hoping it's a 3. If not, I won't be disappointed, still a good price I think.

        • Looks like they've updated the photos now. It's now showing a 3.

        • @silent1: To be clear, is the card in this deal the one with 74MBps read, 54MBps write?

        • +1

@Jonaseymour: Yes it does. Even better deal now, bought one. Thanks.

And here i just paid $24.30 for a Transcend Premium 32GB Micro SD the other day.

  • Thanks.

  • Thanks for sharing.

  • +1

do they have a 64gb too?

  • +1

Great to work with goPro Hero4!

  • Awesome price!

  • Thanks OP.

  • +1

    Any chance they are fakes?

    • +2

I doubt it, 130k feedback at 99.9% positive. Worst comes to worst you launch a PayPal dispute and most likely get the cash back.

  • Brilliant price, thanks OP! :)

  • Got one, thanks :)

  • When buying cameras at kogan, do they usually come with SD cards? I've just bought a canon g16 on the ebay deal, just wondering if they usually come with one and what is normal size, because im looking to get this card.

    • From what I know, most cameras no matter where you get them from don't come with SD cards unless they specify it in the deal. I've always had to buy SD cards whenever I get a new camera. 32GB is more than enough if you're just taking photos and some videos.

Cheers for the reply mate. I ended up getting this card. might get a couple 16gb cheap cards as backup also.

        • No worries mate! This is a deal that's good to pass up.

  • Does this UHS1 or UHS3?

    • Was listed as UHS1 then changed to UHS3 this afternoon.

      • Hopefully I will receive the UHS3

    need a 64gb sandisk extreme :(

    • Buy two of these, even cheaper than recent $54 64Gb card.

      • Not so convenient swapping cards if one is going to be using it in a smartphone or tablet.

        • Smartphone or tablet does not need the Extreme speed. Get that Sandisk Ultra 128Gb card deal instead.

        • @edfoo:

I've got a Sandisk Extreme Pro 8GB Micro SD in one of my Nokia Lumia 530 phones. Loads games and takes photos real fast. :P

  • Awesome! great for my new GoPro

  • Novice question:
So is the the same as a "32GB Class 10 Micro SD Memory Card (TF-Card)" or will my new LENOVO K3 NOTE/K50-T5 (from that excellent recent deal), go do a dummy spit?

    • +1

I also what to know this…. just ordered the K3 note from JD last week

      • @firedoophin I think it does after doing the research suggested above…TF is the earlier term of SD and micro SD is the smaller format version.
I read that it is in the specs that it is Class 10 compatible, so this one is fine.

  • bought extreme 64G from PCbyte the other weeek for GoPro Hero4.
this 32G is good as a back up, bare in mind that each battery will last 1.5~2.0 hours of recording time depending on usage/recording mode.
    32G can record for ~1 hour @4K 30fps or ~2 hours @1080p 60fps.

    need more gopro batteries!

    • Same here. Also received my Extreme 64Gb for my new Hero 4 Silver, will be using this 32Gb card as second card. I mainly want to shoot in 1080p 30fps, so hopefully this 32Gb card will give me 2-4 hours recording.

I have also bought two Wasabi batteries with a dual desktop charger from a local eBay store for $40.

      • where can i find $40 deal?

        • Hmm I bought the package from mxwsaver when they were offering $10 discount, which brought the original price $49.90 down to $39.90. I just checked their eBay store and it seems they are currently out of stock for that package. This is their eBay store: http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/mxwsaver/m.html?item=121488223445…
There are other local sellers which sell similar package for around $50.

  • I read on a photo site that these were faster than the SD size version.

  • I bought 2 yesterday, but now I see the link now says "The listing below has been updated by the seller"… what changed?

    • +1

Click the View all revisions link at the top of the description.

      • Interesting! So it seems like minor things… I think?!

        • +1

Yup, looks like it was just updating the quantities. There'll also be a link to view the information as it was when you placed your order (that way they can't change the terms you agreed to after you purchased.)

  • Order one I had Samsung evo 64gb before wonder if this uhs1 is faster

    • Yes, this Extreme card is faster than the EVO.

      • so Ultra is the same with EVO bro ??

        • +2

Yes, Sandisk Ultra is in similar range as Samsung EVO.

      • Cool. Although I'm not sure if this is UHS III or I because the listing shows USH-1 but picture was different

  • anyone received their mini sd card yet?

    • +1

Yeah, I got mine a few days ago.

    • Didn't receive mine so contacted seller. Have to say that communication wasn't as quick as I would have liked, but eventually got refund message from the store yesterday.

Lo and behold, the item appeared in my mailbox today, after being bought and paid for on the 29/6 (item was marked on ebay as posted on the 7/7/15)!!!

Have contacted seller and asking about returning the item.

Because item is bought with Ebay's 20% special, if I wanted to keep it (cost $24 each this way), am not sure how to work this out with seller.

      Cheers.

  • UHS 3 it is. Good deal…
