As a small form of apology for the server issues experienced with last night's deal, PC Byte has secured a further 300 pieces for those that may have missed out on purchasing.           There's no extra interface. An SD card adaptor is purely a micro-SD socket and a larger set of contacts, there are no electronics involved. There's also no way for the attached device to know whether the card is a full-size card or a micro card in an adaptor.

          Personally, I'd prefer to use a microsd + adapter since it's used in much more devices than regular sd cards (useful for when storage capacity gets larger and you can swap out a new microsd and use the old one in a phone or something).

      Sandisk Extreme is one class higher than EVO. EVO is in similar class as Sandisk Ultra.

          Hi moneymoo,

          While this would work with a gopro 4 silver, i would not recommend it.

          You would need a memory card that writes/reads at atleast 45mb/s to be able shoot at 4K.

          The samsung microsd EVO would only be able to shoot at 1080p at most.

          @francesca2148: I'm not sure why people think this.

          I did a read/write test on the card in this sale that I purchased a while ago. It consistently writes at around 20MB/s. That corresponds to 160 Mbit/s.

          4K and 2.7K and 1080p60 with protune on have bitrates of 45Mbit/s.

          It's pretty self-evident this card does work with the GoPro and has plenty of overhead to boot.

          The only time the write speed of the card noticeably affects camera use is the time delay for the buffer to clear after 30 burst shots in one second.

    Mine was delivered very quickly, I already have it. However they need to look at their order system. I have my paypal purchases delivered to my work address. However PC Byte omitted the company name (included in both their website and paypal system) and just put my name and the company address on it. Fortunately it got to me ok, but I know a lot of people do this and it could cause problems.

    Otherwise all good.
