What's so big deal about this deal when they regularly have 20% off with similar exclusion list.

  • +1

This Dick just keeps coming and coming…..

  • So what in particular is a deal?

  • The sad thing is that even thou Dick has managed to make 'sales' it's standard prices, the majority of the public will still fall for this shit… Walk into a Dick store it's full of Mum's and Dad's getting conned into paying ridic prices.

I think this is the future, mass market will win over actual deals. I see it more and more with other stores and it isn't good… 'online revolution' gone bad.

  • y always exclude apple? :(

    • +3

For a start, Apple's wholesale price isn't much below RRP, so it doesn't leave the retailer much (if any) room to move.

    • -1

Because Apple kicks retailers off the supply list whenever they sell below RRP.
Actually Apple's wholesale price is a lot below RRP.

yawn, another day, another dick smith scam.

    • scam

I'll assume that was auto-corrected from SPAM!

      • +1

neither is good but, no, i meant scam, I'm not sure what else it would be when stock appears and disappears like ships in the bermuda triangle and website 'errors' only affect certain products and only for the duration of the offer, after which they 'miraculously' get fixed!

Absolutely. I've physically gone into a store during an online sale to see that they have stock on the shelf, only to be told by the Manager that is online orders only. (Smart phones are great for this) Jumped online to show that they're out of stock. Showed Manager, said that it must'be been already sold. Went into store to see the exact same said 'unavailable' stock was still on the shelf the next day after the sale and was still there several days after. I grabbed the stock off the shelf to purchase it 'at full price' and had no problem doing so. Asked Manager why this stock is now suddenly available. Obviously received more BS answers!
Safe to say why I feel these 'so called' DSE deals should be banned!

    13% for 250 people…. and tomorrow 10% off for 100 people??

hopefully it counts down to 1% for one lucky customer :P

  • +1

i've heard "250" in chinese culture means "half mad", "stupid", and "13" in english culture is unlucky, BUT being a real ozbargainer will go for it…

  • This is not a deal, not when they have a better deal every other week.

    • +1

Every other day! Wasn't it 15% yesterday? #SPAM

  • Thanks OP, brings the Logitech K830 Illuminated keyboard down to $58.72, cheapest on staticice was $85.

And weird the banner on the DS site says the code is only valid for the first 150 orders.

  • I'm getting "Coupon GET13OFF is not valid"… looks like they've run out?

    • Still works for me.

Mods, can we please have a serious look at half of these DSE deals?
This one in particular doesn't even have an example of something that is a bargain!

Remember the days when you used to block Vistaprint for having the same crappy spammy deals day after day after day?

  • I am waiting for GET100OFF
