People spend hundreds of dollars on knives, are you suggesting they should buy a new knife every time one gets blunt?

Ii'm sure those who own $$$ knives won't mind spending $$.$$ plus $.$$ shipping for their sharpener!

I wonder how many times this same sharpener gets re-badged

    • Kitchen IQ and Edgeware is the same brand http://www.amazon.com/Kitchen-IQ-50142-Electric-Sharpener/dp…

      • Neither of the two above will ship to Aus and I think may be more expensive after currency conversion and shipping.

It was a comment, a reference to another product. I didn't comment on price, or neg the deal because of my comment.

        • So is that helpful/relevant, you know on a BARGAIN forum where we are looking for the best prices or is it just wasting people's time chasing your link?

        • @gadgetguy:

I'm sorry, did my link waste more of your time than you've wasted writing those 2 comments?

        • @Spackbace:

Maybe not but it might have wasted it for everyone who has looked at the thread.

        • @gadgetguy:

It's OK, I don't think many people have bothered clicking in ;)

          Nope :)

  • A whet stone is the only good way to sharpen a good knife properly. If you spend over $100 on a knife, learn to sharpen it with a whetstone. It is not that hard. just takes a little practise.
