Seems like a decent deal on the cheaper electric versions (Vitality/Vitality Pro) eg vs: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BRAND-NEW-Oral-B-Braun-Vitality-P… but NOT the Professional Care series that can be had for cheaper on eBay eg through Big W eBay store $58.88 del http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/TOP-RANGE-Braun-Oral-B-Profession…

Doesn't look like Big W's eBay store to me.

It's weird though because you can click and collect at Big W and Woolworths stores…

    • whats the diffs btwn pro 500 n 1000?

Any difference between Vitality vs Pro series?

    • I'm not sure which pro you want to compare, but I went from a vitality to a pro 4000.

Besides for the wireless monitor thing (which is a complete gimmick anyway), the only thing I've really noticed is it seems to have a stronger/faster brushing action, if that makes sense? Like it seems to spin/oscillate more. Whether this results in a better clean I've no idea but it seems the sameish to me.

Either way most dentists I've spoken to recommend an electric toothbrush - any of them - over an oldschool one so just try out the cheaper vitality one and see if you can get used to it. Either way the brushes will last you several years (mine went for at least 5 and I only upgraded because of a sale.)

    Do they have bluetooth ?

    • Sure they will soon lol

I'm surprised you're asking this when you know they are microprocessor equipped.

Can you imagine the years of programming that went into making that microporcessor act like an egg timer, truly this is at the edge of adding computers and networks and getting magical results for no reasons.

        blueTOOTH, toothbrush, get it?

  • I got one from shaver shop for about the same price the other day. It is a good toothbrush.

I've had my Pro for years and the time btw charges is decreasing. Now it takes a full 24 hours to recharge, bloody nuisance. Has the battery recharge/ hold improved for anyone who has bought one recently. Fat lot of good wifi and a timer is if you can't actually use it as it's charging.

    • so you're saying your smile hasn't improved?

    • The battery is probably on its way out. I'm sure the battery tech is the same as what you've find in any other electronic item and would slowly lose its max capacity.

Time for a new brush! :D

    • Ditto here. Battery is not officially replaceable and replacement handles cost $80 + shipping.

  • How does 'Vitality' compare against ALDI's electric toothbrush?
