Someone posted a question on the Logitech forums asking what the difference between the K400 and K410 was.

The official response by logitech was:

As of the moment, we do not have an official update regarding the difference between the Wireless Touch Keyboard K400 and the Living-Room Keyboard K410.

    How amusing.

    http://forums.logitech.com/t5/Keyboards-and-Keyboard-Mice/Wh…

Someone else replied saying the K410 is probably the K400r, to eliminate confusion.

    • To my eyes, the K410 looks to have a gloss black finish, as opposed to the matte grey finish on the K400R?

      • +1

        You might be right!
Here's a photo from Meritline that shows a glossy finish:
        http://images.meritline.com/images/product/0/0/6/2/1/large/0…

I prefer a matte finish as that kind of glossy plastic ends up looking cheap once it gets smudged with fingerprints.

I wonder if the top row can be permanently set to F1-F12. The K400 could but the K400R couldn't, from memory.

      • Also, the botom side of my K400R is white. This K410 looks to be all black

  • after clicking on "proceed to checkout", the website took me to its home page. Tried a few times and always ended up like this. anyone knows what the problem is?

    • normally this will happen if javascript disabled or some corporate VPN's block soomething that cause this issue.

      • thanks. that explains it.

  • Thank you. Been always missing out on the AusPost sales.
Good thing I drive past it.

  • Good deal for those able to pick it up.

  • so not using the universal tiny dongle like i have with logitech mouses?

    • +1

yes it is using a unifying receiver

  • Review of the k400 (which is apparently the same/similar enough according to eug's comment?)

  • -1

K400r trackpad is compatible with Win8 gestures, whereas k400 isn't.

Also k400r has a power off button, but k400 doesn't.

    • +1

I have the K400 in my hands now and it has a power switch.

  • -1

why it shows $19.95 when i choose to pick up?

What were you expecting it to be?
