2300mAh battery for FHD screen, it will drain really fast!

    • Good thing you can get the accessory pack with the removable 3000mAh battery and half of Ozbargain would have quite the collection of Xiaomi power banks by now ;)

      • Are there any cheap chinese 5.5" phones with a massive 3000mah+ battery?

Thickness be damned, sometimes we just want a phone that lasts two days on a single charge.

Give us a deal on the Umi Emax?

My Galaxy Note 3 lasts 2 days with a Lollipop ROM. Also takes a 128gb microSD.

        • @Mechz: Thats news! Mine doesnt even last till evening.. of course heavy user.. BUT.. still i cant see it lasting 2 days even with light use..

        • @ashar:

I have note 4, managed to get 7 hours screen on time before. I thought note 3 was as good in terms of battery? I typically see 2 days with 6 hours screen on time

        • Decent reviews for the price and massive battery.. Check it out!

There are some reviews on YouTube

          @Ronnnie:

Are you sure 2 days with 6 hours SOT?

Or 2 Days with 6 hours use?

        • The best at this stage I can do is 5% off with the coupon GKBfan Next time I'm asked to post a deal on a phone I'll make sure it has a decent battery.

        • @superforever:

2 days with 6 hours SOT. That pretty much what I always get. That's without using power saving mode. However if you spend more time outside the battery will drain faster because you need the screen brightness higher.

          @Ronnnie:

Do u know what is SOT?

Are are telling us you have the screen on for 2 days 6 hrs.

        • @superforever:

          No

I meant 6 hours SOT over 2 days the phone is on. Sorry for badly wording it. However I have got over 7 hours SOT before. I thought that was pretty much the norm with the Note series.

          Proof

          @Ronnnie:

OK, 6 hours over 2 days is very good.

          Cheers

        • @Ronnnie: Well.. typically I do video in floating window while surfing the web and it wont give me more than 3.5 hours screen-on time.. may be its too much for the phone. Just upgraded to lollipop yesterday.. lets see if that changes anything..

  • When will this get android 5.1?

  • 5.5 a little too big. Any deals on 5.0/5.2 screen size

    • +2

After using Zenfone 2 for months I found that 5.5" is not too big :)

    • +5

      That's not what she said

Find a phone and I'll give you a deal.

Lenovo K3 Note or Huawei P8 Lite?

        • I'll see what I can do.

        • @Clear: I would be especially interested in a deal on the K3 Note.

        • +1

Unfortunately I'm not allowed to do a specific deal on a phone currently, however we do have a 5% off coupon GKBfan that can be used on the entire range.

      • How about Elephone P7000 or P8000?

        • Have a look at this promotion. Elephone controls the prices and promotions on their phones, so Geekbuying is limited in what they can do.

        • @Clear:

          Is the P8000 $209.99 - $40 Australian Dollar?

        • @superforever: No, it's US.

        • @Clear:

OK so we still can get USD40 discount around A$50.

But the phone over 200g a bit too heavy.

        • @Clear:

Thanks, what about Elephone P7000, any discount code?

        • @zhenwen: Not at this stage unfortunately. We can only reduce the price when Elephone lets us.

  • Exclusive?? It's a banner all over their site for the Seckill Price. Whatever that is. http://promotion.geekbuying.com/promotion/iocean_m6752_secki…

Lack of 'exclusive' aside, nice specs on the phone for the price. Battery is a little light and I wonder what camera chip is 14MP - rather an unusual figure. But overall quite nice.

    • +2

You have to reserve to get a coupon and it doesn't guarantee that you will get one iirc. So this coupon bypasses that and was made exclusively for Ozb.

      • Okay, nice one then.

  • 14mp front camera…….selfies yeah.!!

    • Sorry that was a typo.

  • Whats shipping time after payment?

    • Processing will be a few days and will arrive in ~3 weeks with free shipping.

  • @Rep

Could you confirm this has AC wireless + miracast, NFC?

  • Work on optus frequences? (3G/4G)

  • From experience, I wouldnt trust claims of lollipop upgrades from small chinese phone companies. You have to rememeber these things are a 50/50 bet that theyll be any good as things like android system crashes, bad call quality and weak as piss GPS can makes these phone pretty useless. <looks at Mlais m4 note sitting face down on desk and sighes> Though if this phone was endorsed by Billy Ocean it might change my mind.

    • iOcean isn't small compared to a lot. Their phones have been popular with the XDA in the past along with Oppo.

  • Also some great deals on good phones at the moment like the s5 on the Virgin $40 a month plan.

  • Might be safer to go with Xiaomi - $139.99

    • We have it cheaper here ;)

you have with 1gb ram, firs link has 2GB

        • So it is. My bad.

  • Any android tablet deals? Looking for something around 8 or 10" tablet with decent spec.
