First time poster, Long time lurker. Hello Everyone, I felt obligated to post this deal as I've been having such great experiences with all the bargains I've gained over the past few months. So yes 40% off every single item in the Dish'D food store, they have a brick and mortar retail experience store in Prahran but I've only shopped online and they deliver to your house, hassle-free, meals are pretty tasty for frozen, good quality, tried it first with the 7 greek meals for $20 offer, which was great. Have been meaning to try out their luscious desserts (Bacio Ice cream yummm) and now I've got the perfect excuse :) enjoy yourselves

Note: meals are packed with tons of dry ice, so they'll stay cold for a while if you're going to get home late.

      a sensational deal OP.
      And ironic they only deliver to Melb Syd when most of the items are made in Italy/France/Poland…
      Tried them on the last deal, some dishes quite good (pizza, Veg Moussaka, Cabbage rolls) but half the dishes ended up in the bin, mainly the fish ones.
      They are the mega food company Simplot, who have a big presence in Aus, pity they don't use more local ingredients, might give a better strike rate on quality.
      Their meat is local though, so might try that this time if my wife lets me order them again!

        I always like to support Aust made as well, looking behind can labels and whatnot but items like Lindt chocolate, Bacios are Italian, the idea some connoisseur in some exotic part of the world are wearing chef hats and decked out in chef gear trying to create an exquisite piece of decadence really appeals to me?! Guilty as charged…I hear about over fishing and tuna stocks in our oceans are rapidly depleting etc and it worries me also, but there's always a balance I reckon, can't just stop eating fish all together, I mean I wouldn't do that…I care about Omega 3 and my health…anyways Love Aust Made :) nice of you to point that out

        Only if stores online listed the country of origin of their food items. Unlike real life shopping, you can't read the back label on a website to see where it's from.

      Sorry you got a bad meal, this is not my experience though. Mine was nothing but positive, especially the desserts and whole eye fillet.

        It was just the choice of sauces and ingredients. It wasn't particularly poor quality, just poor tasting. Too bitter / salty and just smelly. The sauce was watery and salty in most of the dishes and the fish was chewy.

        This is coming from someone who likes Greek food.

      You need to be careful with the heating of the fish, it is easy to overheat and it goes yucky, otherwise yummo. I wasn't that fussed on their pizzas so I wouldn't order those again but everything else has been top quality, especially the meat and the salmon. I think the desserts are especially good value and with 40% off, unreal. I spent $160 this time only because I wont fit anything else in my freezer but will order again before the month is out assuming there is anything left.

    Excellent prices on the meat - particularly the salmon. Ordered 9 lots of it !

    The green beans and a few others work out pretty keenly priced too (for individual sealed portions - great convenience).

    Amazing timing having a party this Sunday, had the cheesecakes before they are really delicious.
    I snagged a Friday delivery, food ordered and I don't have to spend all day Saturday cooking.
    Recommend desserts especially gelato, lemon is really good.
    Didn't particularly like the vegetables, but I generally cook fresh for those.
    The mince is a good price as it is a premium quality.
    Going to try the butterflied chicken, going to defrost and marinate in peri peri then BBQ on the webber.

        It's a party for kids and a few adults. I'm still going to make home made sausage rolls and the cakes. I love cooking but am time poor as I'm working a lot of late.

    Went in with the intention of being healthy. Sorted by highest-rated first, and ended up with half the cart full of desserts, all with great reviews and that look super tasty (lemon gelato, chocolate ganache and salted caramel tart, love apples, raspberry tart, lemon tart), the other half being salmon, pastas, a pizza, entrées. Felt guilty, but then ordered anyway!

      Me I'd be getting through two of those desserts in a night because I can't control myself like that so I avoid buying it to start with ;)

    Can't speak myself about the deserts but realise that everything is frozen for god knows how long. Expect bland tasting food.

      I am pretty fussy and nothing is as good as fresh food, but this would beat most supermarket frozen food, I haven't had anything that has been bland. In case you have had something I haven't yet tried what was it that you found bland?

      everything is dated and if its a little bland just add some salt, the quality is excellent esp their pastas. Freshly cooked is much tastier but for a quick meal this is a great back up.

    A lot of those completed meals weight only 350g. I would probably need at least 2 of them each meal to keep myself from starving :O. Not that much of a bargain in that sense I guess. Happy to be proven wrong though.

      I got the Porterhouse and the Rib Eye and the quality is probably just below if not on par with fresh cuts from Coles.

      I've tried the Porterhouse roast before and that came out really well - seared in frying pan first then finished in the oven for medium-rare. Trying the eye fillet steaks this time.

    I've got a monster order sitting in my cart that I will purchase Friday afternoon.

    That way I'll be able to eat what's in my already packed freezer over the weekend and hopefully be able to fit most, if not all the dish'd meals in when they get delivered next week.

    I've never been this excited to 'do the shopping'.

    Tried them before, be careful with spinach dishes, has a lot of sand in it, don't think they wash it properly.

    Hey guys I made an order on this website yesterday and received the order today.

    I gotta say it appears to be an awesome service for some really nice frozen food. It's not a super BARGAIN, but for the price I paid, I got a bunch of boxes of really nice finger food for a good 10 guests at an upcoming gathering.
    I've also got some frozen lasagna's, pastries, pies, and other ready meals ready for a quick lunch or dinner.

    Plus the gelati flavours are all delicious.

    Not sure if I would make many orders in the future for the normal price… but this transaction was really easy and smooth and fast.
    I would certainly honor their generosity this time by making some orders in the future if I saw fair prices.

    Wow so 40% off 'everything' in July except they've de-listed anything with meat content because the profit margin isn't high enough.

    Was interested in trying this but not with what's left.

    After I finished ordering the max I can possibly store in the freezer I have to wonder if it's worth just buying another freezer. Really great prices overall, was quite shocked seeing how cheap it was at checkout.
