        I don't think water resistant would cut it. You would need to upgrade to the water proof model.

    Much better price point for the Sandisk Ultra II as at $139 you'd be better off with the Crucial MX100. Good buying at this price though.

        Hmm… doesn't read right.
        I was going to buy a BX100, budget build. But I can get this Sandisk for $16 cheaper!
        Newer BX100 is amazing, newer, budget option… but this is 'faster' and cheaper.

    Good price on Samsung 2tb portable. Unfortunately for those who missed the recent Seagate 2tb portable deals and are looking for a 2.5" 2tb drive. Do not buy the Samsung M3 if you have plans to remove it for use in other devices such as gaming consoles and laptops. As this model has USB port soldered directly to the HDD board and is not a standard sata drive.

        As far as portable HDDs go, are the Samsungs good? Everyone complains about the Seagates, and praises the Western Digitals. Do these stack up with the WD?

    Finally I can run a network cable through the bottom of the swimming pool 2M depth to the other side of the house.
