      I came here to say this. I got the Z1 deal from Virgin on 24 months contract that expires in a couple of months. I have upgraded my phone once already. I will never sign up for a 24 months plan again unless I can live with a phone for 2 years. Plus the plan is really low compared to most prepaid deals out there. Buy a phone you want outright and get on a decent prepaid plan. Thanks

        How many months earlier before the end of 24 months did you renew your contract? Last time I did four months earlier

          I rather not get another 2 year contract. I have already bought my phone outright and will go prepaid once contract is finished.

      Only Voda does 12 month contracts these days. And they've been increasing in price yearly. Or Telstra as a paid option, but you're still ultimately stuck with a 24 month contract at the end (and have to hand in your old phone each time you get a new one).

      Telstra almost got my business due to that. Would have been making them some additional money.

      They need to plan another 'cockup' to get more customers

    I have beef with the design of the Sony Z series. There is so much bezel room below the screen for capacitive buttons. Why do they use on screen buttons? It seems like a waste of space.

    The loyalty number is certainly worth a shot, I got a bonus 1 gig per month, 500 meg on the plan, bonus data 1 gig, then loyalty 1 gig. 2.5 gig plus the rest for $40 pm.
