i was going to call Palmo at lunchtime, cheers for saving me the trouble, Mitchell Centre was the one that had to call me back and yeah, no joy for either of us.

I think only the Craigieburn Coles store had them and they were on clearance, so no price match possible I'm afraid. Good luck to those who got them for $39. I got 2 for my kids a while ago ($99 HN deal) and they are easily as good as iPad Mini (first gen). Great screen, very loud speaker, quick and smooth to use. Can't think of a better tab for less than $100 (excluding generic brand Chinese stuff).
They also have great battery life

Doesnt look like any NSW shop have them - all the shop i have called said they have never sold ASUS and only mem pad that are $89
for anyone scouring the neighbourhood coles stores, these were only availale at Coles Superstores… cant tell which ones are those in my searches
Went to 5 coles in melbourne's south-eastern suburbs, all only carrying Pendo tablets with worse specs and more expensive. So this is not a deal worthy posting in Ozbargains.

Tried my luck at Gosnells, WA. Ha, they didn't even know that they sold tablets, sadly though no stock of the ASUS.
Local store says they were not told whats on sale. But wait "there is a tablet you might me interested". She fetch out a tablet and scan it, a pedopad $78 and she said buy this on sale. She is so nice - btw she is about 60yo.

Can confirm that Palmerston and Mitchell Centre don't have them bud, I was at one and I sent my mother to the other one lol.
Not in stock and they looked in cupboards etc.
