      • ;capslock;. now what ?

  • +3

Are there any more for that price?

    • +2

I did ask at Craigieburn Coles and they have 10 more in stock.

  • Good deal.
    Any stock in WA please?

      • +4

While ya at it stop by SA aswell…..please and thank you. :)

    • quicker if you dust off the magic carpet and fly around.

  • +4

Is it the same one HN and TGG sold for $99 including a free case about a year ago?

    • +2

Actually it might be, maybe the op could post the model number?
That was a great deal, still have mine.

    CAGE eggs !!! >:(

    • +4

just like most of your free range are.. :-(

      • No they're not…

        • +5

Dream on… also tell the accc that they are wrong with the ones they have caught doing it.

        • @xywolap:

          Dream on…

On what basis do you claim that most free range eggs are caged? Do you have any proof?

        • +1

@xywolap: The ACCC has found egg suppliers have been overly densely packing their chicken flocks. It has not found chickens in cages.

        • +4

@jv: No better than caged. At least in caged there is no pecking order where chooks literally "peck" each other to death. There is no current mandatory law that both defines nor decree "free range". While 1500 hens per hectare is the preferred model for "free range" the coles and woolies free range "standard" is 10,000 hens. Perhaps those thinking paying exorbitant prices on free range should be the ones finding the "proof" on free range being beneficial, not the other way around.

While i'm all for the welfare of animals, this is just marketing. You're paying more for nothing - the absolute anti-thesis of being an ozbargained, jv.

        • +2

          @jv:
:-) There is real big money in repackaging eggs into cartons that have free range printed on them…

        • @jtsback: I wonder what the aldi free range eggs follow. Anyway, what about barn laid eggs?

        • @fryandlaurie: Hey there, I wouldn't be able to tell you off the top of my head unfortunately :( However, some googling should hopefully be able to find you some answers :) I took a subject i the foundations of animal health, so I only know some basics of the agricultural industry, and am no expert by any means :)

    • +1

Yeah I always get free range <3 happy chickens :) Also last time I got eggs was at La Manna awesome place and got these eggs http://joshsrainboweggs.com.au/ no gaol cells in sight, they look pretty happy

    • Which eggs do you buy if you buy them from Coles?

    • +5

JV - What is the purpose of hijacking this deal with your own agenda. People have the right to choose. The OP has been nice enough to share a deal, then you pick apart their shopping list and make completely a completely irrelevant topic that you know will inflame debate here as it has previously. The post here is for a tablet not eggs. OzBargain used to be much more of a friendly community and if I was the OP I would take offense at this comment and be far less inclined to post again. Can I kindly suggest you read this post https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/197655 and perhaps alter your behaviour.

      • I've flagged your comment as a personal attack ;)

      • Well said - a very kind a polite feedback.

  • Is it ok to expose the last 4 credit/debit card number?

    • +37

yes, they will come up in Powerball this week.

    • +3

9865.. Come on, tell me me what you can do with 4 numbers.

      • +2

The first 6 are type and bank.

The last 10 are your account and a one digit checksum.

      • +1

my bike chain lock combo :(

    • +4

You think someone might kidnap OP and force him to tell the other 12 numbers?

  • +1

Hi Op, how many were in stock?

  • where do they put the electronics at coles?

    • +4

Front ( where the ciggies are)

    • +1

      Post of the day!

I don't know about you, but I prefer the ass from Woolworths

  • +2

Don't need it, great deal though.

Might go hit up a few Coles tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get lucky.

    • +2

Don't need it… might go hit up a few Coles tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get lucky

Might go hit up a few Coles tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get lucky.

Most people would go to nightclubs, etc. but to each their own I suppose.

Seems like a steal at this price for a basic tablet. This model comes in two sizes, 8GB or 16GB. What one is this deal OP?

  • +3

Freaking awesome price for this above average tablet. I got one from GG when they were on special for $99 about a year ago.
Small warning - I have NEVER been able to get the two I bought to connect to a bluetooth device. Couldn't connect to my car stereo and couldn't connect to my logitech portable speaker either.

I massive shame - but for $39 it can be overlooked as it does everything else great.

    Nice find OP :-)

    • Have connected mine to a soundbar no problems..

    • +1

did you tick "make device visible" in bluetooth settings before you connected to your devices ?

    • +11

Have you turned it off and then on?

    • Update: Connected to the internet this morning for the first time in about 6 months and there was an update waiting - 7/8mb big.
After install completed, I tested bluetooth connection to car stereo and portable speaker.
      Both now work perfectly!
So ignore my previous warning… turns out this tablet does EVERYTHING awesomely :-)

  • Is this nationwide?

  • If anyone finds them elsewhere in Melbourne, could you please post it.

I'd make a trip to Craigieburn for this price, but no doubt they will be snatched up before I get there in the morning.

    • +1

      Port Melbourne: No Stock

  • +1

Memo to self, look for one tomorrow.

  • Just called, all gone at Craigieburn :(

    • +4

We now know where Broden lives.

  • How about NSW?

  • +1

Sounds like old stock found hidden away in the cupboard. Never saw it at my local Coles.

  • +4

    • +1

I know you live in Ashfield and work in city…

      • +11

By now, you should also know how many devices I have in the house that require AA batteries, my preferred mobile phone, type of car, internet provider….

…unfortunately, nobody cares enough to stalk me :(

        • Wait…he is now counting your eneloops, but can't get the numbers right, cos you keep buying them again and again…

        • @durendal:

          Fun fact 164

Ozbargain deals keep the eneloop manufacturer in business.

          Fun fact 520

The total amount of eneloops owned by all ozbargaineers can power a caltex toilet light in the male stall for 5.2 year continuously.

  • +1

None in Footscray as when called, that only have Alcatel tablet for 99 😔

Hi Guys, anyone know where to buy one in Brisbane? called, cannonhill, morningside, newfarm and city and no one sells them.

    • +1

None at Indooroopilly either - they're usually my go-to for tablets.

    • If you've found one please share. I've rung 10 stores and most didn't even know what an ASUS memo 7 was.

    • +1

You can tick Greenslopes and Coorparoo off the list too. Only Pendo Pads at these stores. I think this deal was just old stock.

    • just called mount warren and was told the deal ended yesterday. They are now 89 bucks.

      • Likely they didn't really know what you were talking about, probably a Pendo or something they have at $89.

        • lady said she knows what I was talking about but didnt have any in stock and deal ended yesterday.

  • Can these serve as cheap gaming pads for kids?

    • +5

Back in my day, handheld gaming was a wooden ball tied to a handle. Hours of fun trying to catch the ball with the handle.

So yes, this will can as a cheap gaming pad for kids. Worst case scenario, tie a ball to it.

      • Was 'your day' 1935?

        • +1

          1573 actually.
