10% off Courier Fees for eBay Members

140
eBayparcel

Send a parcel anywhere in Australia from $12.

A possible solution to the current uncertain situation with Australia Post. I have used the quote function today on the website, and some of the options available are actually the equivalent of posting through Australia Post with the added benefit of a tracking number, and they pick up from your house.

Interparcel is giving eBay members 10% off its already low Domestic & International courier rates using some of Australia's biggest carriers along with the largest worldwide carriers.
Simply enter your eBay promotional code eBayparcel in the Quote & Book section of the site to start saving.

  • Used the code a quite a few times and it works.

I've shipped phones via road service and a few rather huge car parts, couldn't be happier with the price. It beats Pack'n'send hands down.

  • How is this compare to fastway?

Got different choices between TNT, DHL and AAE. A bit more flexibility I guess and without the need to setup an account.

  • This is pretty good. What is the turn around time? Say I book on Sunday will the courier come on Monday? Do they come at a specified time or is it "ARVO" or "MORNING" without a time frame?

    • Book on Sunday night and collected the item Monday arvo on one occasion…you can specify a range between 9am to 5:30pm to pick up but you can't specify an exact time. Not that it matters for me as my work have got its own loading dock and am fairly close with the logistics people so I just left it with them.

  • Hmm ok I'll try them out. The prices are similar if not cheaper than AustPost.

  • Do we need to sign up to use their service as I can't find any link to apply but I can see log in box?

I usually use SmartSend for bulkier packaged… very responsive communication and theres some flexibility with any last minute changes.

    • I had a purchaser use the smart send service this week.

Always a 10% discount for ebayers. Also I noticed they have a shipping calculator you can add to your site.

      $36 to send a large 18kg box.

You don't need to sign up.

The downside is their pickup windows: either 12-4pm or 1-5pm and that's it. I found this particularly inconvenient, but at least it's another option.

I still think e-go.com.au is the cheapest, once-off, casual, sending courier. 99% of the time beats Smartsend quotes.

Now that I have a Fastway accounts they are the cheapest by far. but not great for casual users since you need to setup accounts and buy booklets of coupons. Interparcel is great since you get to choose from a variety of couriers.

  • International shipping prices are about 30% higher than Express Post International, just checked on an item (laptop) I recently sent, and it would be even more with $1000 worth of insurance.

  • Not very impressed with the quote i got from Interparcel, but i was impressed with the e-Go quote.
