i bought one of these for $598 (less $99 cashback) only last week… now it's $70 cheaper!

note that the one i bought (from the richmond store) had 3gb RAM installed - not sure if they all have this (it was something the richmond store decided to do for some reason - the guy said that "no-one wants a 2gb laptop these days").

this comes with a FREE windows 7 upgrade (no postage/handling fees in australia). the $99 cashback must be submitted within 14 days of purchase.

last thursday's green guide had this latpop advertised for $999 at another store. it's also been on ozbargain at $450 (after cashback) - this trumps it all!

    On the Gateway website - it doesn't say that the screen is LED backlit

    Comes with a bluetooth dongle thingy.i thought it said in the spec that it had bt but maybe not.havnt used it yet.but its got everything else from what i can see incl. HDMI which im still trying to get sound to my plasma oh and a full picture too if anyone's got any ideas…

      by the way there are still heaps at the Richmond store if anyone wants one. I think its just sold out via ordering online.
