  • Now are you sure Mr Rep that the system is worth $800?

    • not $800, but $999

      • According to the video the "tubes light up inside the frames". That there is your $999 RRP.

  • Internal FM radio. I'm sold.

  • I think it is the vacuum tubes that provide the warm blue lighting.

"The vacuum tube in the H10 creates a second harmonics to the sound source and this gives a richer and warmer sound to human voice and guitar sound. This is great for listening to acoustic instruments and vocal singing."

We then force this "pristine" signal through the crappiest speakers we could find, for your audible pleasure.

  • The RRP is silly. If the amplifier is that great, I'd expect to see some specs such as THD. It is 6W x 6W, so a tripath amp would probably be more powerful and better value. The shipping is also over the top. Going to neg this because this is nowhere near a bargain.

Hey guys, I've got a rare paperclip in my hands right now, was selling it for $50,000, but have slashed the price to a 6 pack of Fat Yack. DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS ONCE IN A LIFE TIME OFFER!

I'm negging because there is no way that anyone in their right mind would pay $999 for it. It resembles $50 sets that also come with a hifi turntable.

  • Nice try, but wrong place.

  • Heh Soniq? For $230? Maybe try $2.30 and then we can talk.

I'm imagining a product designer sitting at home, developed this high tech system, but no one wants to go forward with it, citing the high cost associated with it. Depressed. He hears a phone ringing, it's SONIQ, "We'll take it." So off he goes to SONIQ and develops the prototype, and from that the final product, it wasn't cheap, but hey, his dream has come true, finally some speakers which "gives a richer and warmer sound to human voice and guitar sound". He sees it in stores, he cries, it's like having a newborn. Then he hears a family talking about it, the husband is interested, but the wife tells him "I've never heard of Soniq, sounds like a dodgy knockoff", his heart plummets, he sees the family walk away from the speakers, he wants to drag them back, but he knows it would be hopeless. Not long after, Soniq calls the designer in, "Your product is a flop, sorry but we can't continue it anymore, even at 80% off no one wants to take it." The designer goes home and spirals into depression and alcoholism, but the speaker plays on…….. he cries as it plays his songs. "Hello Darkness my old friend"……."Damn you vacuum tubes. I don't want to hear your supreme rich and warm sound." he cries but it plays on and on……..

    • Fortunately, at 2 x 6 Watts, his crying will drown out the song.

    • Hahahaha

The vacuum tube in the H10 creates an artificial second harmonics distortion to the sound source.
