OSRAM 5.5w LED Downlight $24 but Given for $12 at Bunnings Warehouse Springvale VIC

40

Hi all
In the current bunnings catalogue in page 5, OSRAM 5.5W led downlight is mentioned as $24 but the phrase "pack of 2" appears next to it. The product thought is actually a single pack product and is for $24.

However upon pointing out the error to bunnings this evening they agreed to sell each pack for $12 each or rather two packs for $24.

Enjoy while it lasts.

Edit: the bunnings Springvale manager agreed that it was a printing error but agreed to discount anyway.

Edit2: in that page there is a DETA 12W LED Downlight kit which appears on the catalog at $29 but is at $19 in store. This is not a deal but I am just sharing with fellow ozbargainers.

Isn't that an error rather than a deal?

The initial price itself is a deal at $24. Now it's effectively half price. I consider it a deal because bunnings is willing to accept the price .

  • DETA 12W LED Downlight kit which appears on the catalog at $29 but is at $19 in store.

    The Daylight versionis $19.

Warm White was $29 in store. Which temp is in the catalog?

    • Doesn't say in the catalog. But I matche'd he item number showed in the catalog to the ticket on the shelf.

    • I got one of the Deta LED sets at Bunnings last week… @ $19. That is their price shown online too.
Nice unit… very bright(white light)and comes with transformer with 3 pin plug fitted.

      • Can I ask how many you would fit for a 2.6m x 2.4 m bathroom ?

        • 2.6 x 2.4 bathroom? That's a cupboard… LOL :-)
One might do? They are damn bright !!
Get one set and plug it into the power pt in there and see how it goes.
Two in a room of that size may be too bright??
BTW.. the unit is a low rise one and is sealed. Just need to make sure that the transformer is not covered by any insulation etc.

        • I'd go one as well. So long as your ceiling is high enough.

  • I got all mine replaced (25) for free under the vic programme. The ecomatters used by energymakeovers are very decent. Won't work with dimmers.

    • if you kept your old halogan ones, you'll find there not decent enough for reading paper based.
i only changed my hallways etc. at my own cost.
I will keep my option open for better ones…

      • Seems fine for me… also my paper based reading is almost non-existent these days :)
