Brother MFC J6520 DW A3 Inkjet Multifunction Printer - $222.57 Delivered @ Ink Depot

30

I believe this is the cheapest A3 printer in Australia at the moment. With something this size, free express shipping over $99 is a big deal (most other sites charge $40-60). I got my order in 2 days (and my postcode is considered non-metro for some stupid reason, so it always takes an extra day).

The 6520 is wireless, has a touchscreen, ADF, the software on PC is great, and it's fully compatible with all 3 major mobile OSes - and it can both print and scan in A3.

They also claim to have a referral system by entering my email address on the payment page, but I can't seem to find any sign of it. If you come across it and would like to give me some loyalty points, please let me know and I'll message you (don't want to post my email address in a public place).

  • You missed out on my mfcj6920 post.
    Hardly Normal

    • That's expired now, but congrats to those that put in the effort to get the pricematch.

  • Solid printer. Have had mine for a while now. I think next time though, I'm gonna go for one with 2 paper trays - pretty much the only thing annoying about it is switching between A4 and A3 manually.

Although just with a quick search, I found this :

It's on there main website as well, but shipping costs are shown after the whole checkout process, which I didn't go through.

Good printer though, would recommend :)

  • Pretty good price for an A3 multifunction inkjet.

I purchased an Epson Workforce 7510 a few years back when the cashback took the price to around $150 from memory. It has been pretty good. The A3 scanner has been particularly helpful, as a cheap HP multifunction I purchased for $50 through an ozbargain post only scanned A4, limiting its usefulness to me.

The Epson 7510 is still available from MSY for $205 if you can pickup and your local has stock. http://www.msy.com.au/viconline/peripherals/12130-epson-work…

I second Giteau's comment about separate paper trays for A4 and A3. This would be truly a welcome feature if you print a good amount of each size, as it can be a pain to remove one size to print another, just to put it all back again. The Epson Workforce 7520 has the additional A3 paper tray.

    • The model with the extra paper tray (6720) is only available at HN or OW I think, meaning it's got no competition elsewhere. The 6920 model is actually a different printer, with different features. My wife wanted the extra tray but I couldn't find the models with that feature anywhere near this price.

FWIW, I also had a 7510 previously, but after many years I can tell it's wearing out. The newer model from Epson (7520) has a touchscreen and many other features to make it comparable to the Brother.
