Doesn't look like that good a deal. $153/night for Hilton Sydney looks like the standard corporate rack rate. You should be able to get that sort of rate (at least for weekends) from lastminute.com.au or wotif.com
a quick check shows, $165 for weekends in January on wotif (with breakfast!):)

It can I think . When I checked Perth Hilton there were the January specials for a number of different rooms but none of the hotels in europe I looked at had this option .
Yep did a bit a few comparisons for london and wotif seems to be cheaper even after Hiltons 50% off ….
Not every Hilton seems to be on wotif though and maybe prices will hike up when I'm going in August .

It's an unexciting deal. Book when your travel plans have firmed up. It's usually worth while booking 90-120 days in advance.
July/August is peak period and I'm told the prices get quite high during this period .

Hilton has a lowest price guarantee. If you find a cheaper rate after you book through Hilton or their agents, Hilton will match the price and give you an AmEx gift cheque worth USD50 or a $50 discount depending on whether the hotel is located in or outside the US. I made a booking through the Hilton.com website and found a cheaper price for the same room/same time from a different website and just made a claim. Hope they uphold their promise. If it works, this will be the cheapest stay at a Hilton hotel ever as this will be on top of the 50% sale that's now on.

i have been told that the sydney hilton does not offer late checkout and i am currently disputing it with them…any help guys
If you make booking for 2 adults then probably it is a great. But if you have kids, the "Kids stay and eat for free (Terms & conditions apply" doesn't exist at all. I rang the hotel and have to book 2 rooms with special rates offered in this deal.
But still pretty good deal though.
