    Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4" WiFi + 4G is $479 using the code TGIF90. It's over $600 anywhere else.

Thanks for that, and I just bought one. I agree it's a good price, although your claim that it's over $600 anywhere else is incorrect.

Taking into account shipping charges, etc. and that I can just walk up the street and collect it from a store with Dick Smith, it is probably the best deal available to me today, and I like it that if I elect not to collect it in three weeks, I can get a full refund – so this is a good opportunity even just to lock it in as the maximum price I will pay, if I want to watch for better offers for a bit longer. I'll be going on an overseas trip in a few weeks, and am actually in no hurry to collect it and start using it. (The downside of not collecting it now is that the warranty period clock starts ticking anyway.)

    • I bought the Galaxy Tab S 10.5" Wifi for $450. Pretty good price. It's been cheaper, but nothing since the EOFY sales. Cheapest otherwise is Officeworks for $540, whereas most others float around $600.

Yawn… im getting bored of these dick smith deals.

Garmin Vivoactive Smartwatch no HRM for $254.15 click and collect, TGIF25 code takes it down to $229.15 - bargain. $286 at HN.

That's really good. Buy 50 dollar item and u eesentially getting that item for free

  • Damn, it appears the recently added Sony Xperia range are also excluded. Love to get a Z3 discounted, Sony never discount these!

  • Logitech G710+ Mech Keyboard seems to be excluded (Coupon Code Not Valid error). Does it come under the heading of "Gaming Consoles, Software, and Accessories"?. Shame anyway, would have brought it down to $114.95, cheaper than anything on StaticIce, and no shipping.

Just so that you're aware, G710+ broken keys appear fairly common. I've had 2x and both had to be replaced.

      • Thanks for the heads up.

  • anyone think this is a good deal? LG 49" FHD for $1154

  • $120 off is not so often and is a good topper on some already reduced items

  • Keep getting code invalid when trying to buy galaxy note 4 with TGIF90 code on iphone. Can anyone else try pls?

    • excluded

  • Damn I just bought a JBL Charge 2 at DS yesterday for an already good price of $149 but could have been even sweeter…

    • Oh wait it can't be used with an offer, which this was, so waste of a comment :P

I tried paying online with a Dan Murphys gift card (from the recent amex deal) & it worked for me! Extra 15% off. I though gift cards with woolies brands no longer worked for DIck Smith online but DM did so letting others know.

  • anyone know if they have the Ninja blender? Can't seem to find it?

  • GoPro Hero+ LCD comes to $349 vs GoPro Hero4 Session @ $439 (already had $50 off before code)… is this a good price or should I wait for a better deal for either (leaning to cheaper model)?

  • What is the bloody point of giving out codes when the one thing I want to get is out of stock everywhere? Looks like DS just doesn't want me to spend money with them. frustrated

  • I don't believe the discount codes were targeted at you specifically as an individual consumer, and the scope of “the bloody point” is far broader than whether you personally stands to benefit in some way, let alone your being satisfied with regard to one single wishlist item.

I want to buy a 27-inch iMac with Retina display at a significant discount, but it doesn't mean I won't spend frivolously on other things in the meantime, if I kid myself that bargain price and personal benefit (or value) are synonymous.
